Would you guys mind if I joined in? I'd have to bum a ride from one of you maybe...if that's ok... 'cause I'll be getting out of class on the UO campus at 12:20. If that's too much to ask I understand >_<. I can bring Asian munchies.

I don't know how people are planning to travel to the picnic, but I will have my car.  I don't have a problem driving over to the campus to pick microgamer up around 12:30.  Where on campus is a good spot to meet, or to be more precise where is your class and what is close?  Also, how will I know you when I see you?  I will be driving a silver Pontiac Vibe.  I will most likely have the windows down and the sound of anime music will be coming from the car.     I don't think I will be wearing my cosplay, since it is rather warm, I will most likely be wearing some sort of Anime themed T-shirt.  I plan to start dying my beard blond this weekend, so I will have a blond beard and sideburns and brown hair.  My beard is styled like Hohenheim from FMA, so I don't think you will have any problem recognizing me.

I'm afraid I don't currently have a cosplay that could be considered casual and comfortable. So I'll just be in "civvies." Naturally, it will involve an otaku-ish shirt of some sort, because I can.

I have a black newsboy cap I've been fond of lately.  If it helps, I'll wear it.

Oh, and a notion: unless we are responsible for our own eating utensils, we will probably need paper plates, napkins, cups, and plasticware.  Is anyone going to bring those?

Need to watch the number of people.  If you have more than 20 you need to pay for a park permit.   
Have we decided on where the picnic will be held at the park?  The Francis M. Wilkins Shelter is the obvious place, but without having a reservation, there is no guarantee it will be free.  I would guess that on a Tuesday afternoon that wouldn't be a problem.  There are also a couple of picnic tables over by the swings, if I remember correctly.  They are first come first serve.  In the actual park area, I am pretty sure they don't have any picnic tables.  There are park benches, trails, and water features.  There is a large open grassy area with trees that I often see people laying on or reading with their back to a tree.  I doubt you want to go laying in the grass (grass stains on your cosplay).  I suggest the FMW Shelter as a good meeting location.  It is easy to find, sort of central to the other locations, and has parking in front.  It is also shady so you won't be in direct sunlight.  The gardens are all uphill from it, but you end up going up and down the hill to see everything anyway.

Oh, yeah. There are a couple of tables over by one of the parking lots, and I was thinking we could meet up there. I'll be sure to get there early, so just look for people dressed funny I'm thinking the one with the swings.

So I'm just gonna be wearing a knitted panda cap, a black shirt with a white seal/emblem, and board shorts. I'll be waiting on the campus side of 13th and Kincaid, facing the traffic that's coming towards campus on 13th.

So I got done making the potato salad and according to my mom, it tastes amazing; so that made me proud. ^w^ I hope you guys will think the same~

Microgamer, I'll be there at 12:30pm.  Silver Pontiac Vibe (just washed).  I'm wearing tan shorts and my light gray Naruto T-shirt.  I always have on a Navy blue Greek sailor cap (really, always).   

I just don't want to bring my cosplay because it is to hot for a long dress coat, long sleeve shirt and a vest.  Even just the long sleeve shirt and suspenders is a bit much when it is in the upper 80's or low 90's.  The wig also acts as a heat trap on my head.  I get hot really fast when I wear it.

I'm bringing watermelon.    No, I am not bringing a blindfold and a stick.    We are not at the beach 

I will have my laptop with me so we can watch anime.  Any requests?  I won't have my entire 3TB collection of fansubs (it is scattered over 4 drives) so let me know what you want to see so I can bring it along.

Thanks guys, it was fun.  Next time maybe I'll wear a costume so I'll be worth photographing.  I totally forgot about my Apollo Justice costume; it'll be good for a comfortable costume in the future.  I enjoyed meeting everybody.
