I'd like to hear those figures from a reliable source reflecting only the most current chipsets and firmware versions available for retail.
For me, the stability of the system is the last thing I care about. Hardware can be fixed and replaced. What's important to me is the game library and the controller. The 360 controller's weight, shape, thumbstick sensitivity, button sizes, wireless latency, power consumption, and versatility are all phenomenal, and the vast library of excellent games also argues in favor of the 360.
Neither PS3 nor 360 "suck" by any means. They all have their pros and cons. Neither one is worth being a fanboy over and neither one deserves the pointless criticism that people frequently give them.
If you want to own a system you can legitimately brag about, go build a computer.
