Not a fan of valentines day personally. And not because I'm single on it, because I think in the past like 5 years I've been single..once on it?

I was fed up with it sence 5th grade
and i still see no point in having valentines day

I'm in the same boat as everyone who's single on V-day. What I plan to do instead is come to the event at waterfront park, armed with a heart shaped "free hugs" card and have the hug be a gift to whoever wants it.

If I can't find a single person to give an awesome gift to, then I might as well make a cute and thoughtful gift that can be shared by everyone out of paper and pencil arranged in the right way, right?

Actually many things are erupting on Feb 14th. (out of the gutter now!) The Winter Olympics, the Daytona 500 signaling the start of the 2010 NASCAR season, and yes there's that holiday everyone loves and hates.

So instead of doing the impossible and asking one specific girl to be mine I'll just ask...
Who wants a valentine that doesn't have one yet?

<.<.......>.>..... dont tell my hunny what i got him!!! i made him a coupon book of awesomeness! with stuff like back rub, make any dinner he wants breakfast in bed ect and i got him God of war 1&2 pack for ps3 and pre order God of war 3, And candy !! and some panda cookies and these disposable champagne glasses that i think are the funniest Damn thing and a heart basket to put it all in

Coupon book, thats a pretty cool idea... I dont really frequent these boards often what with school keeping me busy, but Ive got a girl for the first time on valentines day and was looking for some nerdy ideas. Mostly because shes an awesome anime/firefly nerd.

Anyone have any cool ideas to toss my way?
The only thing Ive got so far is going to the japanese gardens.

Saturday or the day before Valentines day are my friends 2 birthdays.

I don't dislike Valentines day. I only celebrated it a few times and now it seems like a normal day. It would be funny if the super bowl was dated there instead.
