Not sure if these are classified as "old school anime", but I like Urusei Yatsura and Maison Ikkoku. And hope that the latest venture "It's a Rumic World" will be available on dvd and if possible dubbed (but only good dubs)

Honestly, I wouldn't go with any of the options, except for maybe Orihime &/or Uruhara from Bleach.  They're the only characters from the show I like.  (Orihime is adorable in the first season, and Uruhara is just cool).

If I could throw out any random series, I'd go with Ranma 1/2.  It's a classic, really funny, lots of pairing options, and it's really funny.

I dabble in creating anime art.  I've been toying around with the idea of creating a collage of all the really cool/kick butt female anime characters from many different anime (and styles).  This would have to be poster size.  Plus it would take me awhile.  Not enough time for 2011 (too many props to make) but perhaps 2012.

I second Urusei Yatsura, love that series/those movies. But I voted for Death Note. That's the only option I even remotely care about.

If I'm able to get a table, I'm planning a Ronin Warriors print and a Slayers print for sure.
On the not old school side, probably a Gurren Lagann print too. Come to think of it...Gurren Lagann and FMA: Brotherhood are new and pretty popular aren't they? Not to mention really good. Why aren't those options? :C And what is this for anyway...?

I voted for Durarara, just because it's one of the newer shows and because I've never seen fanart of that series at an anime con.

Sure, Naruto, Bleach, and Death Note are popular, but I think we all get tired of seeing the same old characters drawn over and over again.

Opt for something different. I don't think drawing old school anime or newer ones matter, since we all have different tastes.

None of them :/ I mean I at least like Bleach... But it'd have to be really cute/good art for me to buy it.
I'd like to see maybe some .hack art, or maybe from the manga "NG Life"...
Old school anime's got me too. Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, and turn backwards to Ronin Warriors and sooner from the 90s and earlier.
