I don't know if it can correctly be interpreted as bestiality, since the medical definition of
bestiality is; sex between a human and a lower animal.

Since Vulcan's are actually of a higher inteligence and higher evolution that homosapiens,
the idea that sexual activity with one is bestiality is highly controversial. As such, it would
be like saying a Vulcan is of the same kin as a dog or goat. This is obviously not the case,
and attests to the inherent inability of humans to see anything but themselves as worthy
of the terminology of "human" or sentient.

In actuality, the term you are searching for is known as "interspecies" and while for quite
some time the ability for Vulcan's and Homosapiens to procreate was not a reality, time and
science have come a long way in the Star Trek universe to provide us one wholly logical
"conclusion" if you will; Spock. Half earthling, half vulcan: All Logical.

From Dictionary.com

Bestiality: sexual relations between a person and an animal; sodomy. (second answer)

Animal: any such living thing other than a human being. (second animal)

I would accept the argument that an animal has to be in the kingdom Animalia, though.

And that the second answer is too vague, for plants may then be called animals, which isn't a common name for them.

Edit: And humans have been having dominant insecurities of being smarter for many years, why the word 'animal' even came to be~
