A friend and I already saved up money for Yaoicon a while back. We just need to reserve a hotel room. Ha. Probably should get on that.

I have a cosplay in mind for it. But it's such a popular one I may in fact change it. pfft.

Re: Facebook pic issue:
You can cap the images, like this.
-Press the 'Print Screen' button on your keyboard. (Mine is labelled 'PRTSC'; yours is probably some variation of that.)
-Open an image editing program (MS Paint works) and Paste. The screencap will appear.
-Crop and Save image!
If the full pic doesn't fit in one browser window, just cap twice and paste the halves together in your image editing program.

(Those ANE photos are great, though jaqua's shirt kind of blends in with the backdrop and the bone crosses on the Amaimon vest need more contrast. The k-con advertisements are hilarious and I love Mephisto.)

Also, do you guys think I could find wool fibre anywhere or is that unreasonable? I was thinking about dreadwig and wool would be easier to dread than plastic wig fibre.

I know how I'd do it; I'm just not sure about the availability/price comparisons. I'm pretty sure it would look better AND be a lot easier, so unless it's ridiculously expensive/unavailable I'll probably go with that. (I've made felt before and felt is basically a wool dread. Except flat instead of roughly cylindrical. And wool fibres are actually more inclined to do that than human hair, so it'll be even easier to work with, certainly easier than plastic wig fibre.)

Make the dreads, then attach them to the wignet? It'll probably be time-consuming, but not too hard. Either way I'll figure it out. I'll attach the horns first because it'll be easier that way.

The only thing is, I have to attach a lot of long heavy dreads to it. I've never used a netted wigcap, but unless they're a lot sturdier than I'm picturing it wouldn't work.
