Roadtrip to Ycon would be AWESOME!! Especially if more than one of us can drive! Let's do it. I will totes drive to Ashland just so we can drive to Ycon. And maybe bring people from Portland too. Because. Ycon. 8| Seriously, the plane tickets are the only thing that make ycon any more expensive than any other con.

On the topic of driving to Ycon: I really really REALLY want to have a car if I'm in Ashland so I don't go stir-crazy. So if all goes according to plan, I'd really love to roadtrip down!

@Sandro: There was  HUGE Teahouse group at Yaoicon last year. Full cast, minus Linneus. They just told people "Sorry, we left our trap at home" but Teahouse is suuuupper popular at yaoicon.

I would say dont worry about being super Unique at ycon. Its nice, but the way you meet people is by being something they know, or possibly are cosplaying. Like, yagi and I were the only avatar. We barely met anyone, and no one else was Avatar. People from webcomics that other people know? Its a way to bond. Yaoicon is already so small, its almost a relief to come across a double or people of the same series. Its hard to explain.

Hey Valeria and Auricle, are you guys okay with our MAOH sweatshirts being made out of anit-pill fleece? Cuz it looks like that's the only way I'm getting yellow for the sweatshirts, aside from going back to Joann's and hoping they still have those colorful boat-neck sweatshirts and that they're big enough to resew into regular sweatshirt shape. Cuz I'm looking online and I'm not finding any yellow sweatshirt fabric. Found all the other colors of course. Just to spite me. >1

With the very obvious difference between cast members, its the same show structure. Okay. Yes. its a superhero show. But Teen Titans was gone for a few years, so they brought up this show. Im not insulting it or anything, i was watching it earlier today. Its just, it has Robin, Aqualad/boy, Speedy, a girl from space, a darker somber girl with issues, and half the villains theyve shown were done in Teen Titans. Teen Titans ruined a lot of characters, and made them childlike. Young Justice is like theyre remaking Teen Titans for a more grown up audience. Which is why I like it, and keep watching. But as a former HUGE Teen Titans fan. Its .. freakishly identical so far.

That would be because in the comics YJ and Teen Titans had massive cast overlap. It's 'cause comics suck so hard at making original characters. XD

I knoooow haha. Yagi let me read her Young Justice, and I used to read the old Teen Titans. Its just, I dunno. Its not the young justice I read, but that could be Yagi only showing me the derpiest of derp so thats what I remember.

They mostly just share a name and some themes. For one thing, Superboy was never so ROID RAGE.

Thats what Im saying. They did the same thing with Teen Titans. So, while the comics may have had things in common, their television counterparts were completely different than the comics. So why are the new completely changed television shows, so similar. Theres no reason for them to be.

But I also watched Batman Brave and the Bold earlier today, which opened with a musical number sung by a cowboy, seranading Batman and telling his life story while saying "WHYYY ISSSS HE ALLWAAAYSSS ALOOONNNNEEE"
