@Yagi: ~hughugsiestaaa~ I got out my tiny crochet hook, and compared it with the lace you liked. The holes in the lace are quite spacious, actually. A normal crochet hook would fit through them just fine.

Felix, you said you were free all except for the days you mentioned earlier, on which you were in Ashland and with family. It looked like you were free from the 24th-28th, Britany is free from the 22nd-25th, Valeria is cool with anytime last time I checked, Yagi was in Mississipi from the 20th-30th (you sort of subliminally replied to me with that one post, Yagi, so no worries), and Jaqua and Hashi still have yet to tell me anything date-wise. And Fuyuko is available from the 25th-28th. So it's looking like it's going to be on or around the 25th, depending on whether or not Jaqua and Hashi are free-ish around that day.

Mom is doing okay. We just took her upstairs for a shower, so she's all tuckered out and sleeping. Spicy squiddy snacks are delicious! Ashley and I went to OreAsian to look for curry mix (they were out) and we got some dried, flavored squid. The brand is Mr. Squid. XD I gave some to Eoin and he ate a little bit, but he wouldn't take any more.

(Do you prefer digital or traditional? If digital I'll probably send you the file because my printer is crap and I've never gotten professional prints before, but I can make it something useful like a wallpaper. At the moment I'm more inclined to do traditional but I'll do digital if that's what you'd like.)

I can probably still go Sunday, assuming ya'll aren't planning to meet up at 8am or something. I do wanna go if only to get the lace and see all the awesome wood-cutting-ness. : D If I tell my parents I really need to be back for something, they'll get me back in time.

With the lace, I'm going to attempt to make a less obviously-wiggy hairline for Sokka, like a lace-front wig. I don't have his hairline by any means, and I really don't want to have a lame I-just-glued-this-hair-extension-to-my-head look. If it doesn't work, at least it'll be an interesting experiment.

Pfsh, don't worry, my contacting people has dropped off the edge of the planet. ='D

I've been taking care of my mom since she got out of the hospital. I'm in charge of mom's medication schedule, feeding, bathing, bathroom stuff, generally trying to keep the house clean and other stuff in order while mom's recuperating. I'm trying to do extra stuff to keep mom comfortable though. Massages and ice cream can do wonders. = w = I have a lot of help from Ashley and Chelsea, though I have to stop my family from trying to kill each other occasionally. At least Ashley's in charge of wound care (though there's not much to do anymore.)

So, tomorrow is the last day of classes for me and Hashi. Hashi will be done by 3:30, but then she'll be completely dead and prolly sleep the rest of the day. I still need to go to Wigland, but I don't get out of class until 5pm, so me and Hashi will be going to Wigland Friday. Mostly this fyi for Valeria if she wants Hashi to help her buy her wig. And, you know, come try out contacts.
