Malaria: This is so true.
And yeah, it is, and that makes me sad :'/
Yeah. The only true "britons" are the Welsh and Cornish people that came before the English. Then you got the Anglo Saxons coming in from the mainland around the 3rd and 4th century that wiped out all the original inhabitants in what is now called "England" and pushed the others off to the side (thus you get the territories of Cornwall and Wales.) Around this time they were fighting each other, and the Anglo Saxons in particular were invaded by the Danes. So much fun fighting one another. But this just proves that even from their beginnings the English were a bunch of jerks that weren't afraid to take over and be an a-hole. Yeah, if we want to get seriously technical England wouldn't be related to Scotland, Wales and Ireland at all. Their roots are celtic whereas the English were Germanic (and later Norman/north French after the Norman conquest.) I don't like that in Hetalia the author states that Scotland, Wales, and Ireland bullied England. They all bullied each other and I'm sure that if there was any bully, it would easily be England, especially from the 13th century onward when Edward I of England tried to wipe out the Scottish and the Welsh.
I'm sorry for the rant/history lesson XD;
