Anyone want to pull together an meetup for those who wished but couldn't, or had no interest to head up to Seattle? Like an April Fools Day event, or is everyone's schedule already packed with stuff?

It'll all depend on which day and where, because I'm really desperate for something to fill up my absence at Sakuracon this year.........

yeah... i wanna do soemthing but its hard for me to travel anywhere... what about a saturday somewhere? it would be nice to have a meet up closer to the middle or southern oregon for all the people that live down here

I'd roll to Eugene if I had wheels to take me. Saturday the 3rd sounds optional. This sounds like a big idea, but what if we could get a simultaneous meetup in central Oregon and Portland? If Eugene is a good meeting point also, then what about a video scavenger hunt? Both the Portland and Eugene parties go around taking pictures of things on their lists, and whichever team finds the most after an hour or two wins the hunt. Cell phones would be used to get updates between the two teams.

Just one of many possible ideas .

if we have scimentations ones then we cols have northern, central, and southern... i honestly dont think i could go all the way to eugeane... last trip up thier got cancelled on me.... it would be fun to see who goes where and which team "wins"

Well, we could get a bunch of teams together, and (working off of your idea TSJ) take pictures of general stuff. We wouldn't have to be nessaraily near each other to compete. What I'm saying is, a bunch of people could say, meet up at Llyod Center Mall, and that'd be the Llyod Center Mall Team. And for people in Sourthern Oregon, they get together, and go to a mall, and they'd be the *Insert Southern Oregon Mall Name Here* Team. All you'd need is a list of things you could find at any given mall, and some cosplayers in your neighborhood, and it could work.

Hoo-ah. Sounds like a plan. I just found out that I have the room and the ride...but not the money to go to the con. So does Lloyd Center this Saturday at noon work?
