Yes! Your darling Iruka is getting engaged/Handfasted! You are ALL invited. Wear whatever you like (be children friendly)( this is an event that even you can bring your families too). I met my partner at Kumoricon 09, and we hit it off. We've been together since then. So we decided to have a Handfasting. Ours is a little traditional a little new-age for us. We want our companions and cosplay buddies at this event! So please, feel free to attend and chatter in here all you want about it! Please please do! I want this event to be as magical for you all as it is for me!

It's a Potluck situation, and that means bring whatever food you like. It'll be in a park which means there is grills for those of you that want to grill.

It will be!

May 1st, at Kennelworth park near 30th and Holgate. In SE Portland. We start meeting at 12, and the handfasting is at 2.

We have a ceremony where we will be saying our own vows to each other, and will bind us to each other for a year and a day. After that we will be discussing whether we want to do the marriage at Kumoricon or Sakuracon. Or as a special event between the two at a park - so everyone can attend that as well.

This is a VERY family friendly event.

This will be something I don't plan to miss.

Depending on which one I can get done first, I'll either be coming as super saiyan Future Trunks, or Turk Trunks. My food to bring might be soda or brownies, or both.

Oh thank you so much! I appreciate all the kind words and people bringing food. It is a park that has a grill - from what my Reno Tells me, so there should be ability to cook there as well :3

She's been to M.E.W. Con from my observation.

Oh please do come along! It would be amazing fun, the 17 Bus will get you right to the park. You take it towards either Ross Island Bridge, or the other end of the line. It's kinda near 33rd and Holgate? It's a BIIGGGG park!

I'll grow my hair out - and bleach it out. Alright? The outfit isn't too hard to find either. Just the boots, I can get the others pretty easily - for pretty cheap(Will make the hair piece, and hopefully find someone to make 'Hearts Divide' for me.)

Trunks, it splits right down the middle into two keyblades, so are you sure? I'd have to get it drawn... to be honest.
