I finally have a serious contribution to this discussion. I talked with Emasik and we were thinking of Twilight Princess cosplays we'd like to see. At the top of the list were:
Hena (fishing hole girl)
Shad (bookworm dude)
Ashei (girl with weird bangs and steel armor)
Well, obviously we're biased toward Telma's group within Twilight Princess. Here another few I'd add that would be epic:
Yeta (hand-knitted, if possible)
Skull Kid
Queen Rutela (extra-epic)
Coro (guy with afro)
...And I always love seeing an Agatha (bug-collector girl), since her dress is so fancy.
Here you go, Thundercats Fans. I present to you the most awesome Pumyra cosplayer ever:
And she's a regular at Kumoricon. She's seriously the most talented cosplayer I've ever met, and she is so incredibly sweet and polite. She did Ursula from Breath of Fire and Agatha from Girl Genius last year.
She won best in show with her friend at Sakuracon this year for being Terra and Esper Terra from FFVI.
And, like I said, she's so nice!
She did Esper Terra from FFVI? Then I met her backstage at Sakura Con this year! Yeah, she's pretty awesome. We chatted about how she achieved the look that her costume had ripped down the center during transformation and was "hastily repaired" by Terra.
That Thundercats cosplay is pretty nice, but Esper Terra really showed off her skills.
I might also have seen her as Agatha, but I didn't talk to her then. Or recognize her. Head-to-toe purple body paint, cat-eye contacts, and The Mother of All Wigs tends to make a person hard to recognize from one costume to the next, especially a stranger.
I'll keep an eye out for her at Kumori Con, now that I know two more of her costumes and have at least a rough idea of what she looks like behind all that makeup.
