To everyone that will be cosplaying Gurren Lagann Characters, here is where we will figure out when we want to meet up for a photo shoot and talk about our Gurren Lagann cosplays, if you need wig help or such advice this is the place to get a little help ^^ . I cannot wait to see you all at KumoriCon 2010!

I'm not working on anything in particular for Yoko right now since I've got no money for materials. I could probably make the gloves and shorts if I was feeling motivated enough...

What are you doing for her boots? I'm thinking I'll either get some boots and modify them or make bootcovers but I'm not really sure.

And Shay doesn't know what she's doing for Nia's dress, ahaha~

I am actually going to go to (as bad as it sounds) an adult shop and going to pick up some of their white boots, because they are perfect for Yoko's boots. I just hope to god that they still have a pair. For the flames I am just going to paint them on with acrylics. ^^

Yay! I'mma have a Gurren Lagann group this year with a Yoko, and a Nia. And hopefully I can convince my dad to let my friends come along as Kamina and Simon. (all pre-time skip)

My friend Mikal and his girlfriend have started a GL group. They have a Simon (not me), Yoko, Kamina, and Nia.

I tried a compression shirt with a skin colored tank top over it, and it didn't work. It just made Simon look like he had moobs >.e

Ehhhh, you'd think it wouldn't cost that much because she's practically naked but she's got a crapton of accessories, those shoes, the gun, and of course the wig. It also adds up if you use nice fabric, like, I made a Yoko top out of cotton, and it looked okay I suppose, but I'm going to make a new top, and then the shorts, gloves, and boot covers out of pleather which is rather pricy. :O

I want to get most of my Yoko fabrics some time this month and knock this cosplay out ~

I have the Yoko top done. ^^ not to just do the shorts and her jacket, (doing time skip Yoko) anyways I just wanted to say Vinyl and Leather are both a pain to work with! XD
