I will make this short-

what characters in anime/games/whatevs have NOT gotten their fair shake in cosplay? Such as you search google or cosplay.com and no one has done it justice- No pics needed but lets just get a list goin'.

Henry from No More Heroes- I can find about four cosplays of him and they are all...mediocore at best, his brother Travis gets all the love.

Also English Vocaloids never get cosplay justice.

Guy from Tales of the Abyss. The few I've seen have been mediocre at best. Other characters get all the attention.

Tendo from Tokyo Majin. . . can't find more than one person. . .I would have to make the whole thing from scratch because its a dream cosplay of mine

also Mustang's group other that Roy, Riza, Hughes, and Havok; haven't scene many Bredas, Feurys, Falmans, or SCHESKA (sp?)

I beg to differ. I watch several people on DA who cosplay Guy and their cosplays are really good.

As for me, I don't see enough people who cosplay as Kaito Kuroba(Phantom Theif Kid) or Harley Hartwell(Heiji Hattori) from Case Closed/Detective Conan.

More characters from the Xenosaga game series would be nice...there are plenty of KOS-MOS & MOMO that are good & like 1 Chaos that is ok...but I never see any well done Shion, Jr., Ziggy, Albedo, Nigredo or Jin. Would love most to see Jr. & Albedo though.

As an avid Mai cosplayer, I've always wanted to see an Andy Bogard. This has never happened D:

I also see a lot less time being spent on intricate costumes like Anthy Himemiya, and Chii; Those foam ears make me sad.

It seems that if you're a Pokemon world human but not a GL/E4, a playable trainer, or an Evil Team member, you get unnoticed.

Well I'm not much of an anime/manga fan (which is probably my first problem), I like western stuff more, so most of my favorite stuff never gets cosplayed anyway... But I do have to say that my favorite video game series, Assassin's Creed, NEVER gets the love it deserves. If people do cosplay from it then they're generally doing Ezio, which is fine since Ezio's my favorite character, but since most people buy their Ezio costume it never fits correctly :C It's always too loose! And everyone who has played the game knows that Ezio is this sassy, womanizing Italian dude from the Renaissance, he would never wear something that didn't fit him... Plus Ezio is awesome, but there are SO many other awesome characters who need love too.

Yes, totally! I've been going as Hiei for a while but lately I've been feeling bad for all the other unloved characters; so I'm thinking of putting them to justice by cosplaying Touya... eventually. :'3

I believe Kodocha is another anime that doesn't get the attention it deserves. I've seen only a few Sanas and Mamas and even a Ren... but it's not enough! The show itself is just so... crazy and hysterical! Plus the characters in general are lovable and pretty easy to pull off.

I attended three KCons as Lt. Cmdr. Andrei Kalanin from FMP and never saw a Souske, Kanome, or Tessa.

I would love to see a Multi from To Heart. I want to race, while pushing a broom, down a hallway with her.

Lots of others that it would be fun to see, but these are the main ones.

Personally, I think all Doctor Who characters excluding Rose and Ten need more cosplay love.

I mean, there's SO MANY characters and those are like, the only two people EVER do.

Um. This might just be me being a cosplay snob, but despite the fact that every other female playing FFXIII, myself included, seemed to have jumped on the Vanille train, that no one does it accurately. Everyone just half asses the jewelry, and gets way the wrong colour of wig, and doesn't even bother to make the halter top or skirt right and uses sloppy fake fur and just flat out does a lousy job. Also, there aren't any Fang cosplayers.

Let it be known that my one wish right now is for there to be an attractive, lesbian Fang cosplayer at con this year for me to fall madly in love with. Or at least take photos with.

Unlikely as that may be. Hehe.

Basically every other character from Trinity Blood that isn't Abel or Esther. There's a fair amount of Tres cosplayers too, but nobody really does a brilliant job. I've seen some brilliant Monicas though, and some really good Noelles, but MY GOD so many shiny satin priests and nuns in this series. Why can't people grasp the concept that the only thing about the garments themselves that's supposed to be shiny is the bias tape?

Just because it's the blingy artbook doesn't mean EVERYTHING has to sparkle D:

Pretty much every YuYu Hakusho character with a few exceptions.... After some recent discussion though it's looking like I might be doing a cosplay from it with a friend which pleases me greatly. =3
