Hey everyone! Welcome to the "Insert Witty Name Here" Group Meeting Place, or WNMP (Witty Name Meeting Place)!
Members only please! We want to keep our skit a surprise.

So basically, this thread is so we can make communicating with each other easy. Whether it's about what we will do in the skit, when and where we'll meet, or what you should wear, we'll talk about it right here!

THE SKIT HAS BEEN ALTERED!!! If you're confused, read on and you'll find out.

We have assembled the rules and we just need to finalized then we should be good to continue.

Okay, now on to the meeting. It seems we’re going with early August. I’m pretty much free for anytime then if you guys are.
We still need a meeting place though! Using a park is fine, as long as we can find one (and it's not raining).
Also, please let us know about your schedule! If you can't make it on that date, we'll plan for a later date, no harm done. ^_^

All right. How about the 2nd week of August? Maybe the 6th, 7th, or 8th (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday).

I hadn't even thought about using that! XD I read it a little while ago and loved it. So we should definitly try to use it~!

Oh, and what do you guys think of a Vic Mignogna jokes? I personally love to make jabs at the voice acting ("Hey! W-why do I sound like a girl?!" "Well you are voiced by Vic Mignogna.").

The one thing is we would need a lot of props and we'd have to make it still make sense to the audience. That's my biggest concern with this. Espcially because a lot of this is scenery which is, well, difficult to create.
But I'm up for the change if that's what the people want!

Oh! We could have a series of "still frames" that capture the rules and just have a voice say what they are. (Expect the ones that have the characters talking. Then the announcer would say the rule then we would talk.) And of course we can add our rules when we feel like it. (I have a good idea in which envolves two Roys...>D)

Should we rework the skit and just make it a spin off of these rules, or should we stick with the original plan?

All my homies are going out of state for the summer, so i'm pretty much free for the next couple months. As for doing something else.....i'm fine either way, we would just need to be realistic about what can and can't be done in preparation for and/or during the skit. As for signs (or anything else), i'd love to help if you still need any assistance

Okay, so now we'll need to pick some "rules" and tweak them. Then make our own.
For this part, just voice ideas or use some on the list. We probably want a list of around 30 of both original ideas and that found in the fan fic. From there, we'll start elimnating them. Sound good?

Also, does anyone want their voice on the disc?
My dad works for a radio station and he works from home so I have all the equipment we need (and then some).
But, unless we figure something out, we can't get your voice on the disc. Of course, I won't be the only one because it would sound just stupid if I was the only one voice, but it wouldn't be you.
Does anyone care, or is it all right?

Also, we have an Ed, Envy, two Roys (pretty please!), and fan girls (Bwahahahahaha~!).

As for the voicing, where do you live, or at least where's the studio? Maybe we could set up a meeting when we're done with all the planning and script and those who want, can do some of the voices...?
I'm pretty good at changing my voice, and I can do sound effects very well -w-

So, i'm gonna be Envy, and I might be able to get one of my friend's to be Hughes.

Then Envy could pull out a pen and paper (or something of the sort) and pretend to write while saying "Rule 1 on how to get someone else kicked out: state that they are a chibi while attending an Anime convention." and that would be the end of the skit.

Now it’d be awesome if we could pour water on our Roy but something tells me she won’t want to get wet. XD

One thing though, this is becoming a list is kind of taking its own shape. Its root is “How to Get Kicked Out of Central” but it kind is just a comical never list. (Which is awesome, but just saying.)
Should we tweak the name? “Things You Should Never do in Central.”
It’s still the same idea, it would just be easier to make. Is that okay with everyone?

Sadly, I’m a Washington dweller and I defiantly don’t want to make everyone come up here! -.-
BUT! On the day we meet up, we can do this. There is some portable recording technology and as long we can get to a place that’s fairly quiet, we should be able to get high quality results.

I’ll talk to my dad and get options on it. He might end up getting a gig in Portland, so ya never know.
We’ll defiantly figure something out though! ^_^

Probably not...We don't want to make it only for FMA, so maybe something like 'Things you should never do at work/office/military' Something more general, so it'll make sense to everyone who doesn't know FMA.

And sadly, we can't use water or confetti or messy things on stage...So, we could have a bucket to dump, but it'd either have to be empty and Niki just be a good actor, or maybe like fabric strips (easier to clean up and would look nice ^^), and of course we should totally use the Super Soakers if we can!

Just keep us updated on what's avalible with voicing ^^

Oh my god, I just realized, I'm pretty much just going to picked on through out the entire skit. :O
...this pleases me~!

I think our fan girls (that will chase me off stage) should run signs across the stage for us. Like, I can have Katie (my friend who's still no registered D:) can run said "Fangirls Scream Here" sign. This can give bigger parts and it makes it easier so we won't have to fumbling around for props.

I have a question for everyone now!
Should we ask Kumoricon to black out the stage after every rule, so we can change positions, or should we sew some sheets together and have fan girls hold it in front while Ed, Roy, Envy, ect change postions?
I'm kind of voting for sheets. That way, we can write "Rule 1" and what not respectivly on the sheets and it also will give us some better cover for changing.

Also, can someone bring a black box? A big black box? We'll put that toward the back of the stage and keep our props there so we won't have to run back and forth for stuff.

I think sheets should be fine. Though, you should make them black, so they blend in and such.

You could get a cardboard box and paint that black. Might be easier to find larger ones than a normal box.
McDonalds will give boxes for free as long as you tell them beforehand.

OMG! I just got an idea.
The rule about switching the bathroom signs, we should totally have someone switch them and then another comes along, opens the "door" and it turns out it's the gate, so we could have a sheet or soemthing with all the eyes XD
