So now that school is over for the summer in most, if not all, of Oregon, what are you guys planning on doing for three months?

Usually I would just sit around, the summer before sophomore year I spent literally entire days just sitting in front of the computer. But this summer, no! I'm going to be hanging out with friends, making money, sewing things, doing crafts, and having a great time! What about you?

Don't forget about Washington.

I'm gonna keep looking for a new job, (hopefully) go to Anime Evolution, and staff at Kumoricon.

my goddness, im soo happy schools out~
but i have alot on my plate.
Making mine and my two friends cosplay out fits, since im taking them for my 16th birthday

so we will be meeting up when ever possiable.
i have a volunter job at a summer camp for kids with disabilties and there tipical peers, its called C.B.A.P.
i will be working there 4 days a week for 6 weeks starting monday. and ill be walking 1-2 miles to get to the pool after voluntering -.-'
i have to help stain the wood that were using to rebulid our deck.
many parties, bubba poluzza (yes i live out in banks, so its a hick-ish party) bbq's, pool party at my place and a week of camping with my two friends that im taking to the con.

then to finish it all of, before i start 11th grade ...KUMORI '10 XD
inbetween will be chill time with my bf and great friends, or other contless things i have to do

but it should be great non the less!

Well for one I'm another Washingtonian. XP

I have my city pageant (Miss Tri-Cities) this summer which I am constantly working on. I have a dessert auction on Wednesday my mother and I are making a gold fountain cake for. I'm getting a spray tan on Thursday cause our director says I'm too white. XP
I get to go to a Finish festival in Montana to pick up a scholarship from my step-grandfather's company where he's the head elder.

I just got my permit (I'm 18 XD) since before I didn't want to waste my mother's money on my insurance so I started driving today.
I'll be doing a lot more of that and I might get to drive to Montana.

I'll be sewing a lot...
At the end of summer I'll be applying for a Police Department and Fire Department in one of our cities. Perhaps even Department of Corrections at a penitentiary which is hiring. (Dog of the State FTW!)

I start college this Fall and of course I also have KumoCon 10! ^^
In fact, a day after Con I start my first class which is just orientation for three days.

I should have gotten mine long ago but the insurance was just so much I didn't want to push it on her. It's cheaper now that I'm 18. XP

Going to Israel for 5 weeks. After I get back, I'm going to a ren faire near Tacoma, going to Vancouver B.C. for a family reunion of sorts for about a week, and I'm going down to L.A. for about a week to see my brother and go to Disneyland and stuff. Then of course there's Kumo. I have a busy summer.~

I wish time would go backwards a few months....

To start off my WONDERIOUS summer, I get to go to Pride Northwest both days, which is gonna be fuuuun~
Then things not so fun, like work.....
Then back to things most definatly fun I get to go to the Philipines for over a month for Peace Core training and visiting my brother his wife and my nephew. Then back along the way to America I get to stop in Japan for a few hours.
I come back to work for a while, making pizzas....the useual, coming home with awkward black crustie things in my shoes and smelling as if I were a pizza myself.
And after that some really randomly placed meet-ups here and there along with working on cosplays like it's the end of the world.
I think...by Augest, I get some rest time then I get to zoom away to Quebec, Canada, to see my long lost hubby for a while, come back for a Lady Gaga concert and....some others. Then I get about a days rest.....go back to work.....get stomach ulcer sergurie gone with....and then CON TIMMMEEE~

Now that I have that all typed out....my days seem full. x D

My family and I will be taking a trip to Beautiful British Columbia in mid August. It will be my first time visiting Canada~ (which I'm so tempted to bring along my Canada wig just so I can whip it out and take pictures. xD)

Besides that, I plan on attending more upcoming meet-ups such as the Y/Y picnic and this other one I'm sorta in the process of planning.

well, there is this one friend i made plans with (you may know her fluer, her name is katie xD) we want to learn polish and sign language or something like that, we are gonna practice circle braids, do commisions, make stuff for a MEWcon booth, and sew amazing DWC cosplays.

Rachel and I and the rest of our band are gonna practice like there's no tomorrow.

I also have drivers ED. I'm getting my license. I have a lawn mowing job for an old lady down the street. And I'm going to Rock Camp. For my camp, we have a concert at the end of the week. you guys should come : D its really cute cause there are 8 year old bands that play.

man this summer's gonna be packed. Oh, and I have some hardcore maplestory playing to do. Anyone else play maplestory?

My summer plans boil down to me whining like a baby and working a full-time job with some cosplay and art on the side.
Anyone who's still in school, heed my words: Relish your time there. It is good. You just don't know it yet.

Except for highschool. Highschool sucked. College is awesome.

Cosplay, find people willing to hang out with all summer (i've done that every year for the past 5 years now, most of the time it's just one person out of my (very small) group of friends though), drink tons of Ramune, stay out of the sun as much as possible.

Other then that, it's gonna be sleep in everyday, Party Party every night and BBQ's on the weekends. I'm also gonna try to get a second job!

Oh oh! I have more plans I left out.
I want to master the art of sewing and crafting so that I can make my own dang cosplays!
I also plan on getting my driver's license. I took the test for my permit today and failed. Dx But I'm determined to study hard and retake so that I can get that off of my chest. I'll pass next time! >3
Another thing I want to do is swim. Just swim, since I didn't do any at all last summer which is like, a summer must. D8 So yeah, I'm gunna dust off my swimsuit and take a splash at the Swim and Tennis club with my brother since he wants to go as badly as me.
And the last thing which is probably the most important: work! My current manager needs a courier; so that's another reason why I want/need to get my license. Right now, she thinks I have one already; so I need to study study study. Eep. >_<

My summer plans boil down to these important things:

Finish all of the weapons I started back in like, March, for Kumoricon'10 (xD Not lying here.)
Start finding fabric for my Charizard gijinka I'm doing possibly this year.
Redecorate my room!
Pay off my $172 debt to my mother.. >.<* Nearly there!

Exercise! Who doesn't love that?
And most importantly, figure out how to draw people. And not cute little chibi style that they always end up like for me.

Oh, and not melt. It's hot.

Do some artwork.
Rewatch some anime.
Try to find the fan made "Gamera" movie online/dvd.
Do some laundry.
Start on new amvs.

Look for work unsuccessfully.
Try to make money other ways for Kumoricon (has been somewhat successful.)
Go and see a doctor though I have no insurance about this huge painful swelling on my neck that's making it difficult and painful to eat and drink.
Respond to threads on the Kcon forums.
