Author Topic: 3rd Anual Con 3 Weeks Early. (Read 14025 times)

We had a lot of fun doing this the past two years so we can try it again. However, it looks like just like last year we wont be able to tour the hotel. =/ That isn't so bad since it is at the same hotel as last year. I was thinking what we could do is get a good look around the area so we know about food close by and parks and good photo shoot locations. So cosplay is welcomed but there may be quite a bit of walking so it might be a good idea to bring comfortable shoes.

When: August 12th
Where: Meet at the Waterfront and we will make our way to the hotel.
Time: noon.

I would also like to get an idea of who is planing on going as well, so I know what to expect and I can think of places to take a group of that size. So if you would all kindly fill out the forum and tell me if you are bringing any guests that would be great.

I am going to try to go downtown before hand to scope out some good photo shoot areas to show people. If you are looking for a type of scenery let me know. I am going to be looking for good castle like places, park/forest/grass places (for all those pokemon), futuristic places, graffiti like place, metro places and so forth. If you have something you want me to keep an eye out for let me know.

Oh hey I'm actually looking for a very "city" type of area for the DURARARA!! shoot, so if you could keep an eye out for good spots with a view of Portland, that'd be great!

It comes out on Thursday, but I'm going to Washington to see it with the Seattle Scott Pilgrim cosplayers. So there's no way I could get back in time with enough energy to do stuff. Take lots of pictures though guys!

You can cosplay but at the moment I am just looking for photo shoot locations so I can point them out to people on the real thing. I am going to be doing a lot of walking so you will want to wear comfortable shoes. There is probably five or so people going.
