This Saturday, from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM, there will be a Summer festival at Uwajimaya. This event focuses on traditional Japanese culture, such as old-style Japanese dress, games, food, music and dancing. There will also be a guest performance by former Finger 5 member: T. Akira and a yukata contest!
I will also be there (if possible) handing out pamphlets for the Lloyd Center July 24th Anime Spectacular!
Here's a tentative schedule of what might happen on that day:
12:00: Takohachi Opening Show
12:30: Michael's MC • Greeting by Consulate General of Japan
12:45: Center Stage Ohayashi and Bon Odori
2:00: T. Akira (Former Finger 5)
3:00: Yukata Contest/Shaved Ice Eating Contest
3:45: Center Stage Ohayashi and Bon Odori
4:30: Takohachi Closing Show
