Kumoricon 2010 COUNTDOWN!!!!!

We are currently 35 days away from day 1 (including today since it is 8 am )

What does people have left to do before con? I need to style a wig, order a pair of contacts, maybe install a new zipper. I think that is all cosplay wise

Huzzah! Since I wasn't there, I have no favorite pictures. As far as the to-do list: I must apply buttons, finish a pair of leggings, finish some intricate embroidery details, alter a shirt to wear underneath, color correct the ribbon for the choker, fix this friggin hairpiece.. and I'm debating painting the shoes.  Not to mention the other affairs such as coloring/styling my own hair, and figuring out the transportation situation. But I'm not worried. There is still a whole month between then and now.

oh joy, no time xD I need to buy another wig and do some styling to do, I have basically three cosplays to make, one to was and iron, another to fix, a cloak to make for a commision, one and a fourth crochet commissions, and a few other things that are getting in the way. I can do it!!! 8D

god. I have so much left to do it's not even funny.

I'm part of a cosplay group of *counts on fingers* 7 people? and each one has at least 2 costumes (most have 3). We all make our costumes together and I'm one of two people who can sew within the group.

So much to do!!!

I have - three wigs to do
- three coats to cover in braid and embellish (one needs the sleeves fitted
-somthing like, eight pairs of bootcovers/gaiters to make
- a vest to make
-a coat to make sew together and cover in question marks
- a pair of pants to sew together
- some knee flairs to add to a pair of boot covers
- a shako
- seven moogle palls to finish feathering and to attach to head bands
- a latex prostetic to finish painting
- a coat to hem and spike
- a shirt to alter the sleevs on and to extend in the back
- a cat suit to finish painting (legs are still bare)
- a rather ornate cane to make altogether
- 3 bags
- a thousand and one belts to assemble
- a rib corset to finish
and a bunch of other projects that I will not list, for everyone elses sanity.

needless tosay. I have a bit of a job to do.
but actually, most things are almost done, they just need a lot of embellishment. I'd be working right now if I hadn't been bitten by a spider last night and my hand hadn't swollen up to the size of a catchers mitt. Right now I'm just waiting it out.

Oh god, don't remind me. I have a lot of crap to do still. Find everything for Matthew Patel, get my rifle for Johnny done, help some friends with some props, potentially get Greedlin done...ffffff so much to do. Good thing I don't work a weekend until the end of August!

I'm finishing up most if not all of my armor this weekend, which is great because once that's out of the way I just have sewing and wig styling to do on Vaclav. I still have to finish Sheryl though D:

Oh, and 80 or so arrows for Vaclav, but I'm trying not to think about those.

Oh crap, I have to find gloves too.

Ah well! Should be simple enough.

Yeah! I'm getting pretty excited. :3 And I'm certain that this month will practically fly by.

Man, it feels like I have a TON to get done, but I think I'll be able to get mostly all of it done on Tuesday.
I need to:
-Sew my tube top for Koffing Done!
-Glue on Koffing's symbol to the kimono Done!
-Make a fan for Koffing Done!
-Buy another feather boa for Koffing Done!
-Sew a vest for Tuxedo Mask Done!
-Sew the cape for Tuxedo Mask Done!
-Sew belt pouches for Terra Done!
-Shorten and alter a shirt for Terra Done!
-Decorate a shirt for Terra Done!
-Make Tuxedo Mask's hat

and GET MY HAIR CUT 2) for Terra AND B) To make it slightly easier to fit under my wigs. XD

I'm approaching 80% completion on Vaclav, which is great because I really only need to get to 92% to be happy. I'm not doing the halo for this con, maybe Sakuracon. Gotta finish the cloak, put arrows on everything, do the last of the grommeting and paint a few crosses. Oh, and finish the wig.

And then I gotta finish Sheryl. Frick.

I had forgotten how much I still had left to do. I need to stay out of this thread it will hurt my mind.
