Day 15 - A nickname you have, and why you have it.

Well, when I was in high school, I went by the name "Ed." Why? A few reasons, actually.

1.) I felt that Stephanie was far too common a girls name, but I wanted something that people would be able to remember easily.

2.) It was the name of a favorite character of mine, Ed from Cowboy Bebop.

3.) I was a totally annoying anime n00b, complete with "OMG, anime is so KAWAII DESU~! U don't liek anime?! You BAKA! D<" and it was the "cool" thing to have an anime nickname. At least, I thought it was. xD

Dear N,

I thought you were a nice guy and even agreed to go on a date with you because you seemed nice.
But what I told you was something private. I have learned I need to test people to find out if I can trust them and you failed! So much for Scouts Honor, huh Mr. Eagle Scout? Hypocrites like you make me sick!
Here's a hint. When someone tells you something about themselves that is obviously something private, don't go and tell your whole damn family about it to find out about how people 'live with it.' If you want to know something, ask me, not your family. I'm the one who lives with it, not you. Plus, it's not really any of your business is it? Because you just got the trust tossed out the window!

Oh, and you aren't very good at first dates. I was expecting something a lot more for my first ever date and you failed...horribly.
You completely ruined my outlook on the dating society.

Master - Long story...
Kisitiene - Maayan name
Kisi - Shortened version of Kisitiene
Name-sama - Same reason as Master.
Okami - Cause I convinced most of my elementary school I was a wolf.
Pikachu - Cause I squeak when I hiccup and/or sneeze...
Scrappy - My dojo name because when I was sparing I didn't do jutsus but instead would toss stuff together as I went.

I can play violin.... I also used to be able to do this party trick involving a broom but I haven't tried it in a really long time. I'm also able to get really close to licking my own elbow (like I can hit the side of my elbow bone) and all my coworkers are convinced if I "trained" I could do it... lmao.

day 14 - nicknames

Hanhaha - because when we were little, that was how my best friend spelled my name (hannah), her entire family calls me this.
Charlie - because I look like and have performed Charlie Brown, and small children call me this when they can't say my name
Hannah Jesus - because when I was in high school theater, I explained the concept of christmas in religious context to some of my nonreligious friends who didn't understand. Also, they decided my last name translates into something akin to "jesus". They still scare me when I'll be walking down the street and someone will scream "HANNAH JESUS" when they recognize me.
Norwegion Furnace - from my soccer team. I'm very norwegion, and very warm-blooded. It takes a hell of a lot to make me cold, and when playing soccer in below freezing temperatures and snow, and I'm the only on in shorts while everyone else freezes, they crowd around me to try and get some heat.

Iiii don't care if he's not technically a "Superman," but... he's a superhero, anyways:

He's just... Dante. He saves the world in style, ahaha. Sure, he judges humans on their actions, but... he knows that they're only human. And, he saves them, regardless. He makes me laugh over and over, never ceasing to amuse, or disappoint, and... even if DMC5 totally ends up fan-service... it's still going to be amazing. Because of Dante being Dante. <3

Obviously there is cosplaying, but I also have always been really involved in theatre (particularly when I was in high school) and I'm hoping to get re-involved in shows after I get my Associates in Education in March.

Happy - "Happy little Working Song" - Amy Adams from Enchanted (good for cosplay working)
Sad - "Stay With Me" - from Into the woods. So pretty...so fun to sing...
Bored - "On my Way" - Rusted Root (actually I listen to this whenever because it is the only song that can perk me up regardless of mood)
Hyped - Almost anything perky. Typically from a Musical cause I just roll that way.
Mad - "Brand New Day" - Dr. horrible's Singalong Blog, becuase singing that beginning fast part makes me feel badass.

Can we tell I'm a Musical Theater Geek? Yes we can.

But if I'm going someplace to meet up with people I'll have band aids, medical gloves, contact stuff, glasses (if not on my face), and possibly a small assortment of cosplay things or sweets.
Rarely I'll have keys to a vehicle in there, too... Either the Zephyr or the 150...

It's the easiest recipe ever.... but it's soooo delicious. I make it whenever I can.

Lipton Onion Soup Pot Roast With Gravy
3 to 4 lb. boneless beef chuck pot roast
Water
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
2 Tbsp. Flour


In a Dutch oven or a heavy saucepan brown the beef chuck roast well. Add 2 cups of water and the Lipton onion soup mix. Simmer, covered 3 hours or until beef chuck roast is tender, turning occasionally. Blend the flour with 1/4 cup water and then stir into the gravy. Cook, stirring until the gravy is thickened. Makes 6 to 8 servings.

Kimster- Comes from Kimberly

Kimiski- Wanted a pen name when I was young, asked my sister to look up something japanese sounding with the meaning moon in the dictionary, she told me Kimiski means moon something. It doesn't, I was young and she just wanted me out of her hair, it doesn't mean anything except maybe "you like" (Kimi "you" suki "like) but by the time I found this out years later, it was too late cause all my online accounts were in this name and it stuck. Closest thing to my name having anything to do with the moon is Tsukimi.
