2010 Kumoricon Art Show
« on: August 02, 2010, 12:42:24 am »
Hey guys, the rules and sign-ups for this year's Art Show are available here.

This is a separate event from Artist Alley... you do not have to be a part of Artist Alley to participate, and being in Artist Alley does not exclude you from participating in Art Show.

Artists will be able to display up to 10 pieces, or whatever will fit on a 4'x4' board.  Attendees will be able to bid on the artwork, and any artwork that has received 4 or more bids will be auctioned off Monday morning.

This year, we are also offering a Print Shop, were you can offer copies of your work for purchase... please see the rules for more information.

Registration forms can be submitted online, or via mail.  If space allows, they will also be accepted at the convention on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you have any questions, please post here or email artshow@kumoricon.org.

Where will the Art Show be located?
What media are acceptable?
Will the Print Shop only be available to those in the Art Show? Or, for example, if someone drew and colored an original work or fan art in Creation Station for our Copic-Sponsored Art Contest, then wanted to donate it for the Charity Auction, could she or he also utilize the Print Shop to either donate the original, but keep a copy for her- or himself, or vice versa?
