I Won a TV!

I just won a brand new 19" LCD TV today from Bi-Mart. It was lucky number Tuesday, at least for me.

Talk about stuff you  may have won.

Okay so in 2nd grade we had an essay writing contest that was school wide and I won a 50$ savings bond for my essay. :D


Annddd like three weeks ago we went to a fishing derby and they had a raffle and I won:

The Grand Prize: Two nights free at Pelton Park (it's an RV thingy) and a free full day boat rental. :D

I won 2 free tickets to a Blazers game in 2nd grade for being a good student or something. ^^

That's awesome.
Hm,I won a $250 scholarship for being 2nd best Spanish student (in high school).
I've won a handful of raffle prizes in my time:
a tshirt with wolves on it (which I actually wore to New Moon as a Team Jacob thing as I am that cheezy)
a lovely pair of terra cotta?? wall pieces, one a sun, one a moon
a kids' dirt bike when I was a kid (I think I had to give it away at my parents' behest though)
2nd place for cosplay at a 1-day con (for Integra)
oh yeah and in a raffle held by The North Face at a Jerry Garcia concert in Nevada I won a JVC Camcorder. Really.

I won a 3 night stay at Pelican Shores on the coast when I was like 12, a birthday party at OMSI when I was 13, lots of random raffle prizes, like a pillow at Kumoricon Lite, and if you call it winning, then a scholarship to CCC my freshmen year with the Skill Competition.

I once won a vacuum cleaner from Bi-Mart.  It still works pretty good.

Yeah, but my wife does better than I. She went to a casino after getting angry with me, won $2,200. A few months later she was angry with me, went to a different casino, won $1,800. I keep trying to get here to go to a casino when she gets angry with me, but....lol

my younger brother once won a 5 min shopping spree at a grocery store once , down side was it was only for western family foods 3 max per item :p, I once won a 500 scholarship in memory of my japanese teacher who passed away.  it was for a trip to japan that i already paid for so i used it to move out and really start my life

That's cool. Always good to start your life.

I wonder how I would do at a grocery store shopping spree. Probably why stores don't do that much anymore.

Yeah, you don't see those too much anymore.  The Clark College bookstore does it once a quarter, though.  In fact, a friend of mine was one of the two people who got to go, and she got lots of art supplies.

Not that it's something I've won, but it has to do with a TV!
A while ago I scored myself a $5 1.5 Foot long TV at a retail store. Works perfectly and is almost portable as a gamer TV.

When I was in second grade, I did well enough in the magazine drive to get a ticket for a drawing for a stereo. Which I won. Unfortunately, it broke when I was in eighth grade. T^T

we got mostly cookie pop and cooking spray, oh and bread crumbs, , one time my husband and stopped at lucky eagel casino on way back from seattle  and he bet 5 on 00 and won it was AWESOME

I just got a $100 VISA as a prize at the place I am doing my co-op education at.  I was part of the Health Raisers group in the IT dept.  We all got prizes.

I won a Chobits manga from Rem years ago for my fanfic.

Not much else really.  I don't enter competitions or raffles much.  I think I have a horseshoe set in the garage I won at a picnic many years ago....

But can you still find them?

We didn't win anything at the casino this weekend. But my wife was happy we went.

I bet red in roulette once, won $100. It's not as good as winning 35x your original bet, but it beats losing. The odds are better to bet on 00 than to win something from a store.

Congrats on the new win. I still love that fic. Of course, you still have the chance to enter this year! Until 9 pm Saturday at con....not like that's a hint or anything ;)
