The Pre-Kumoricon Topic I make Every Year
« on: August 12, 2010, 08:17:32 am »
Hey Guys,

Time for the same topic I make every August ^^;

I've spent the year missing a lot in Anime, because well, I forget to keep up on things.

So here's where you forum goes come in, I need someone to recommend me some anime to watch before the con hits, so I can know what's going on.

The last things I truly loved watching were TMoHS, and Wolf and Spice, if that makes for a decent reference at all.

Cheers~

DURARARA! and Black Rock Shooter come to mind, though I am not the most versed person in the history of ever.

Oh, and just because it's HOLYCARPWHATJUSTHAPPENEDamazing, the final Ichigo vs Ulqiorra fight in Bleach. I think the animation studio actually blew most of their budget on it, because since then the entire series has been nothing but quality freaking animation.

Tora Dora

I agree.  I'd also like to recommend The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Season 2, or the Melancholy of haruhi-chan Suzumiya.  I've only seen the Haruhi-chan series on YouTube, (all 25 episodes), but I wouldn't be surprised if it could be found elsewhere.
My cosplay plans for 2022 (thus far): Vanir from Konosuba
My son's plans this year (thus far): Penguin Chiyo-chan from Azumanga Daioh

High School of the Dead.

Setokai Yakuin Domo

Those should burn your eyeballs out if you are not quite ready for them.

People are suggesting some awesome ones!
I haven't watched any "Upcoming and New" anime this year, strangely enough...

But, my list of amazing animes:
Toradora
Lovely Complex
Midori no Hibi
Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu (Which my best friend, RokusasuKun has so kindly suggested)
K-On!!
Arakawa Under the Bridge
Fairy Tail
Hetalia
Strawberry Panic!! (if you're over 16 and into yuri)
Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
Yakitate!! Japan

I'm sure a few of those are rather old, but I've only just started watching them this year, thus why they are there. I highly recommend all of them!
