Hi Everyone: Looks like my panel/workshop will be on Monday. I'm bringing at least 20 pieces from my collection (been collecting for more than 15 years) including some pieces I got in Japan in 2008. I got to go to a Kyoto temple flea market and went just a bit crazy!
I consider myself an enthusiastic amateur—but I know enough to hopefully make this fun and interesting. I love the textile art of kimono, and that's why I started collecting.
If you have a couple of favorite kimono/haori/hanten/obi whatever related to Japanese textiles, please bring them to share and talk about.
