There are no rules of weapon length for K-con and there have been some pretty huge props in the past.
Are you worried about moving about?
I would suggest holding it in an upright position when walking through crowds so no one gets hurts.
Doors will be at least 7ft so you should be fine. I've never measured a door height but I know they are taller than 7ft if not at it.

But if you want to be safe, even though there are no rules stating size of props, I would talk to one of the head Yojimbo.
However, as long as it doesn't cause any danger, you should be fine.

I recall someone that had a gigantic hammer and they were told they could not have it on the hotel premises because it was a safety hazard.  I think they were told that it could impede traffic if there was a fire or something.  I really don't remember.  I could be wrong.  But this hammer was MASSIVE.  I have a picture somewhere, but it would take me a lil' while to track it down. ^^

Okay but that Hammer was probably three feet in width. This is a lance... He should be fine because it is long but thin so it is easy to store and easy to transport.

Depending on what it is made out of, it will be fine. The biggest thing is as long as you can get around in the hallways without blocking traffic, there's no problem with that size. And with this all you have to to while walking is hold it vertically and you are fine.
