That's what saya and I plan on doing for our trinity blood cosplays, the more time devoted to the cosplay, the more likely you will be able to work out as many bugs with it as you can before the next con you wear it to.

*pokes* well, if you actually force yourself to PRACTICE it, it can work... in theory...
I'm going to be pushing myself rather hard this year as far as cosplays, school, and other goals go.

Saya and I plan on having a little game (avatar style) while we're at sakura con, and we would love as many people as possible come and play.

how it works, is, I will be tea shop zuko, and I will have a tray, or 3 by 4 grid of tea cups, on each of the 4 rows will have a symbol for each nation.
you pick a cup, and we ask you a question about the nation you chose. the questions get hard the farther back the cup, and inside of each will be a little packet of Ginseng tea. (Iroh's favorite)
8D and you get to keep the cup if you get the answer right, if you get it wrong, you can ask for an easier question.
We will most likely be doing this the whole first day of sakura con, and during the photoshoot for sure.

and fix the fastenings.
and the soles that are all holey.

That's a good idea on the boot covers Felix! *facepalms* Why didn't I think of getting boning for my boot covers. OTL
guess I was too lazy.

I knew they needed it, I just ran out of time to do anything about it. xD;
But yeah, if your bootcovers aren't close-fitting they'll sag, unless you make them out of a really stiff material... and even then it's a good idea. The way I made mine, they're like gaitors that cover part of the foot as well, and gaitors are structurally similar to corsets. Hence the boning.

The tip of my boot cover didn't stick up enough, it was frustrating. orz, I didn't know how to fix it though.
