Oh man, I'm so pumped right now.... went to my school today and not only will the info concerning my scholarship money be arriving in the mail this upcoming week, but it's looking like due to some of my dad's VA Benefits that all of my schooling might actually end up being paid for. If I'm really lucky with some of the added stipends that may be included I could actually end up being PAID to go to school!

I don't want to get too excited since it's not set in stone yet, but the VA Rep at the school said it looked good, and everything seems to be correct so far. I hope it all works out, because that would really take a lot of worry off my shoulders!

Nevermind, the VA Rep at my school has no idea what she's talking about, I don't qualify for anything LET ALONE 100%.... I'm so upset right now. I told myself not to get excited but I couldn't help it.

Well, it was great news :/ Dubaby, man, I'm sorry. I can't imagine what you must feel like. God, I'd want to punch that VA rep if I were you. Never would since it was probably an honest mistake, but that's terrible. If I were the VA Rep, I wouldn't be able to look you in the eyes I'd feel so terribly about getting your hopes up and dashing them. I guess the saying "If it's too good to be true, it probably is" still applies

My brother bought me this fancy watch for being an awesome bro:

I like it because it's sort of muted, not really overly flashy. Has a classy, sophisticated look. I like the combination of stainless steel/black. I wear a lot of dark clothes, so I think the dark suits that really well. And since it's not gold, it doesn't look too "dressy" and IMO goes quite nice with my regular everyday clothes as well as dressier stuff. ^^

I am excited that my seemingly crap kumoricon plans were just that and are now becoming perfect! Went from gettin screwed out of a ultimate edition manga and 3 live action movies for two wigs and never getting the wigs (thus loosing my items in the process due to unfaithful people) To luckily finding my two wigs online here on the forums and ebay in time and to not having a hotel to having a hotel yay!!!
