This sounds great.  Unless you have to look at the program and re-draw what you see, I am just wondering about how we would print it out.  Not everyone has a drafting printer at home

Hiya..the panel co-host speaking here.
Nope, you are not copying anything by hand- the software's automatic feature drafts the pattern.
ANY home printer will do as this software is meant for home users, not commercial, so there's no special equipment needed.

I'll bring along some of my patterns that I've printed out so you can see them.
Yes, it prints on regular paper and you tape the pages together. (It's actually quite easy to do so and really not as much work as you may fear).
The best part is that if you accidentally damage a part of your pattern, you can easily reprint just the pieces that you need (rather than create a complete new pattern.).

Actually, not as much as you think - you don't have to tape the whole length of the page, just where the pattern pieces are.
Some people glue their patterns together, but I found that gluing was too messy (in MY case), so I went back to tape.
