Thanks.  Fuyuko was fun to work with.  And that shot of Shay was done very quickly, to avoid annoying the people who live in that building.  Shay did a great job of getting up there and hitting the pose right away!

Also, I remember reading this a while back -

I will go through all the raw photos and figure out which ones are "keepers."  Usually some don't work out for various technical reasons, so those get deleted.  I will do some post-processing on the rest of them.  I'll choose some photos to use on my sites.  Normally I use only a small fraction of what I shoot.  Then I will make the photos from these arranged photo shoots (both the ones I used and the rest) available to the people who posed, by posting them online and posting the link here, or sending them by email, etc.

Do you have more than the ones that you didn't upload that you didn't delete? I'd still like to have those and I was wondering when I might be able to obtain them, if they exist.

Sorry, no, what I uploaded there is everything.  The rest were not usable for technical reasons and I deleted them.  That is how photo shoots generally work . . . a lot of shots don't work out, even though they may have been good ideas and the models did everything right -- but the photos were out of focus or the lighting was wrong or the exposure was wrong, or whatever.  That is how it goes.  I'm sorry if you expected more, but we had 30 minutes, and a lot of that was walking, and we still got a lot of good shots.  I've been to shoots where in 15 or 20 minutes there was only ONE usable shot :-)

I smile every time I look at that, because you look so relaxed!  You're like, "Here I am, chillin' on the ledge with my giant axe, check me out, I scale buildings all the time, it's what I do."  I was there, so I know that ledge is about 2 inches wide and really hard to stand on.  But you're so convincing, you make it look effortless.

The "FMA: Lust and Envy" session was my only shoot on Sunday and it was longer than the other shoots, which is why there are more pictures in this one than in the others.

I really want to thank all of you who came out to do photo shoots with me.  I've been taking photos at Kumoricon for many years, but this was the first year that I've done formal prearranged shoots with cosplayers.  I had a fun time, I met great people, and based on the experience I had, I'll definitely want to do this again at future conventions.

I'm planning to be at Sakuracon and Kumoricon again, and maybe a few other conventions depending on how my schedule works out.  I hope to see you all again some day.

I'm glad to hear that.  It always makes me happy when I get a shot and it's what the person wanted.   Another thing I like about that shot is the way the highlight in your hair looks just like the one they always draw in manga, kind of like: ////||\|\\\
