Where's your paddle?!
« on: August 29, 2010, 11:43:59 pm »
Riddle thread!~

I love riddles, and this one's not really a riddle but I didn't get it for a while!

Do any of you get it? (Try not to spoil it for others, maybe PM the person who posts the riddle to see if you got it right?)

Two penguins are paddling their canoe across the Sahara Desert. The first penguin says to the second penguin, "Where's your paddle?" The second penguin says, "Sure does!"

There are only two barbers in town. One has a bad haircut, and the other a good haircut. Which barber do you ask to cut your hair?

You live in a one story house down the road from your friend Suzy.
The paint is green, the carpet is green, the wingdows are green, the kitchen is green, heck, even your dog Lilly is green. Everything in this house is green.
What color are the stairs?

This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it! In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out.

There is a type of mouse that gives birth once a month, giving birth to 12 babies each time. Once a mouse is two months old, it becomes old enough to have children of it's own.

If you bought a two-month-old mouse at a pet store and brought it home with you, how many mice would you have in 10 months?

Oh man, that was sneaky! I didn't notice that part. XD  It's like I didn't even read the first part of the second paragraph.  My brain just filled in the blanks for me. D:

One cat? Or was that an answer to the riddle about the mice?

If it's cats, then you have the wrong answer, regretably. ;-;
