I'm okay with you guys deciding to change the year for the private shoot, but I wish someone would've told those of us who hadn't been involved in the discussion about changing it, or at least contacted us and asked what we thought about it... But I understand that people would want to change it so they had more time to get their things together for it.

As for those who have their stuff together, or are planning to do Sync. this year, we should still do some sort of shoot for it. C: It'd be awesome!

you guys are still allowed to do the shoot lol it's just we aren't doing the skit this year. we understand ppl are still doing sync, so you guys can still bring it to con and make a private shoot, but we're all just wearing out vocaloid outfits either to the regular shoot or just around con or both lol

It's really easy. I usually get RIT dye, which is fabric dye, and it has instuctions on the different ways you can prepare it....

XD the guy who's making my design for the costume is starting it soon :3 i hope he finishes it >w< cuz i loved his sora design :3 it's the same thing that miku wears except sora's wearing his halloween mask from halloween town XD so i'm hoping kairi gets something halloween like or something :3 and i found the riku design from his friend but it's not colored here it is

i'm hoping it's blue somehow >.< if not then it doesn't matter lol

Those vids confuse me. Are those real news reports or whatever? I mean, holograms do not exist yet. Nor does virtual world technology. Obvisouly Miku is not real in those, but yet it cant be a hologram...

they are made of glass reflections. and holograms are real. they just haven't exactly come out in the real world market yet

Yeah. What they do is have a big screen over the stage (you can see it clearly in other videos) and they have a light source from the right, left, back and front. They project the colors and patterns onto the screen to produce the picture of Miku. Then they have the vocal source playing while the live orchestra plays on the other parts of the stage.

We're doing something similar in one of my classes so we actually talked about the Vocaloid show XD

i have 3 different Kcon ideas in mind and while I probably will only be able to do one of them, I still need lots of money. sigh.

Yeah. I doubt it would though. It'd have to be super popular. Then again you'd get a ton of publicity and curious non-anime fans who'd wonder what it's about. It could be an awesome way to kick off the english vocaloid programs or it could just be a huge waste of time and money.

I could see them doing it at bigger anime cons or something. That'd be interesting too.

And I'm working on repainting my coat. I'm hoping to do a photoshoot in the snow as Kaito (if it actually snows...)

And wondering guys, what's a good fabric that is thick but flows easily and doesn't roll up on itself? I had problems with my last scarf that it kept rolling up...
