Just looking at the pic, I think a jersey material would be best, that way it actually looks like a jacket.

Okay, so I am so cosplaying Red. Like, original super adorbs Red.

I finally figured out that the reason I couldn't get into Pokemon was Ash. Problem fixed. I love Red.

I'm really hoping to go to K-con this year and if I do, I'm gonna try to get my twin to be Crystal, her boyfriend to be Ash again, and my other sister to be Red. I already convised my boyfriend to be Silver with me when I'm Gold.
I just hope that plans don't change and we can go.

So I'm not doing Pokemon this year but I wanted some opinions on a future plans for Pokemon. I only like to do one character from things usually and I've narrowed it down to two gym leaders that I can't decide between. If I don't get that much input here than I'll try somewhere else. But here goes. Do you think I should do Furro(Black and white) or Clair(HeartGold and SoulSilver).

Im thinking of getting a black and gray collar to go with it. You know, a nice finishing touch. Plus, then I can have either a dog tag with name, or my Kcon badge clipped to the front of it.

DON'T clip it. Do not. I did that to my costume last year and I lost it in the first hour.
(If you can find a way to attach it securely, that's a different story. Maybe make the badge into the dog tag on the collar? That'd be cute.)

Well, I say "clip" for lack of a better word. Dont worry, I made the mistake of leaving my badge at home on Monday of last years Kcon. I wont make that mistake again. I will secure it for sure.

don't attach it. that's gonna make it really difficult to put on and take off and more likely to break.

just do this

get a regular cape. do the designs or whatever how you will do it.

then use foam or what not and do the castle/ring around thing, and have it slip on. MUCH easier.

you can also use Craft Foam, WonderFlex, Fosshape, Sintra, etc.

i would use wonderflex btw (that stuff is amazing) and for masks and stuff like that that you would like to be breathable, get fossshape (that stuff is soo wicked +W+)

Ooh that sounds good. Although wearing a cape like that would be interesting, since it'd go over the chest rather than the back.

His caftan is simple, just plain white. Plain shoes, and I can attach his eyepiece to my glasses.

Come to think of it, the hair is simpler than I thought it was! My hair's about the same length, so I'd just have to dye it light green and get some things that come out to clip onto the sides/top.
