So I finally realized what that design on the back of Ghetsis's outfit is. It's that sarcophagus one whose name I can't spell!

But anyway I'll try to get started soon. Also, been thinking I should go as Murph from the three Ranger games (he and Hastings are the only characters to be in all three). Should he have his necklace from Ranger 2? His styler from Ranger 1? A little model ship?

@luvan: Fleece. I only work in fleece. (Well...it's all I've worked in previously, at least. I could work with other things, but I like it best for plushies.)

That was my reason for suggesting Magnemite. Their design is SUPER easy, and I love them. Maybe I'll make both Magnemite and Lilligant and switch between them when I feel like changing things up.

Sounds like a plan. =D How big is your tail going to be? It'd be funny if you wrapped it around your legs like a hoop skirt or something. Then it would be under you. You could go for a Tigger tail, though. Either way would be cute. XD

@Psych Well, after a rather mean message I got from someone, Im not sure if i'll be doing spoink now.. Im thinking maybe Teddiursa or Umbreon now. But spoink is still in the running if I decide I really wnat to do her. If I do, the idea is my black leggins, a black or grey dress/long shirt over that, and a fleece hat with the ball on it, or like my earlier idea, I'll crochet the ball and carry it around with me. For my tail, im thinking like you said, a Tigger tail which I have one, and I'll just thin it out with some clippers and then dye it black.

Yea.. some people on here know me personally from my old schools and there they made my life a living hell, and i guess they want to do it here too. I know, im supposed to just let it go, forgive and forget, live my life the way i want and ect; but sometimes i just want to fit in and do as they say. Yea, the girls in the lolita thread dont believe that cosplay lolita should be a genre of lolita, and I do so we fought about it on there. but it got to the point where i had made my point, and they werent even listening anymore, just yelling and arguing about the things i posted. so i left. but here its different. if i go to k-con as Spoink, and then someone says something like that to me in person, my whole weekend will be ruined. i mean, i'll try not to let it phase me, but lately things have been shitty and i get the feeling that wont change between now and k-con.

@luvan1me yea, I know >.< I should do what makes me happy and that is cosplay. I have never felt more happiness than when Im at a convention. Sakuracon 05 or 06 (cant remember) Was my first one, and though I only got to go for a day, I loved it.

@kit Yea, they should. But some people are just mean. I think we should split this into its own thread though. Its not about calling people out on the site, its more about how some people are treated at cons. Maybe the thread should be about all con experiances, or how some cons overall went compared to others. And no, I tihnk Im going to do Teddiursa instead. My boyfriend wants to do the evolution of him, so we can be a matching set.

TRYING to. I'm a very terrible seamstress and will likely have to hire someone to put it all together. But I'm going to try to tackle the mantle myself, and underneath is just a housedress and slippers (he's a casual megalomaniac).

And I'm basically doing this so people will take pictures of me because no one knows Hayley and no one knows Kaede so no one takes my picture.

I do like that color but I can't find it anywhere on a wig that doesn't cost a ton.

Which you can actually get by dying the wig. I've used RIT fabric dye to give my wigs a slight coloring. I added a purple tint to my Riku wig, and darkened other wigs using this method. You could get the wig you're looking at and just dye it a little darker.

I could, and I may try that, but I've never styled/dyed a wig before. I buy all of my cosplay stuff from other people and stores. I don't like messing with stuff because I don't want to ruin it and then have to pay for a replacement. So I try to get as close as I can and then be happy.

well i shall take you first to goodwill, cuz those are GOLD mines <3 then we shall check the salvation army? cuz i know they have clothes too, and if we can't find it there, then i shall go to target or kohl's or some other store that isn't that expensive.

With the egg on the front it might be. We'll all recognize it now that you mentioned it. Maybe if you were a nurse Chansey it might work better.

Because I really need someone to help me sew this thing up. I can provide fabric, sewing machine, thread, etc, but I lack the skill to do so. Also someone willing to teach while doing would be VERY much appreciated.

Can you post a picture please? That would give me an idea of whats envolved. Also what kinds of fabric do you have for it?

And yes a nurse hat is a must. I don't know if I would wear a pink wig or maybe grow my bangs out a little then dye the tips pink
