I started on Ghetsis's cape! Right now it's just two strips of sheets, but we'll work on it this week and hopefully get the detailing on, or at least fashion the base so we can start on the detailing.

The mantle still eludes me, especially since it's going to have to be in several pieces if I'm going to get it on over my head.

i was going to use wire, maybe some different material, and stuffing. the TAIL is going to be a challenge though DX lots of wire??

not TOO much wiring or it will weigh the tail down. just use a skeleton base for the tale, (like the outlining of the tail's shape) then cover it with the felt pattern or whatnot, then stuff it ^_^ it should work. and to keep it from falling, you can attach some sort of pin or something that can attach to the back of your outfit.

@teddy: hey do you think we can switch the pokemon time with the kingdom hearts time on day 2? cuz me and kristi have the cosplay contest, and we can't switch into kingdom hearts right after we applied the makeup for the pokemon costumes :/ do you think you can switch them? so instead of 10am can you make it 12pm?
it would really help us a lot! (and besides, you can sleep in longer XD)

For Ghetsis's mantle I was thinking of a wire base supported with cardboard and covered with metallic fabric. Do you guys think that would be good to go with?

Kristi...You're make up is good but your lips look a bit uneven in size.

Don't know if it was intentional or not but just sayin. it might be the camera angle, too.
And don't forget to put black eye liner (pencil is best) on the inside of your eyes (where the eyelashes are on your bottom lid) cause you can see skin tone there, still.

How does it look without the white base?

I painted my upper lip, and then just a small part in the middle of my lower lip. Also, it was just a quick thing. I will do eyeliner, but my eyes were being stupid...
I'm going for a japanese theater look, which is why I did the white. I just need to get better makeup ^^;

If I don't do the white base, I might do some designs down the cheeks or something...

Make the makeup around your eyes a little sharper and Longer like Lugia, it was a little off

That's all the advice I can give.

Random Fact: Lugia Song (Instrumental) Just popped up on itunes. I love the French Horn Rips in the second section of the song. :\

I know that, dear. XD I mean the actual thickness. Your upper lip looks thinner than your bottom lip. (which is reality but yeah...)
Try making them closer to the same size.

true that. they don't make makeup pale enough for me!

Kris, it was just the angle then. I made them pretty close to eachother.

And the lightest foundation makes me look tanner as well, so you guys aren't alone.

Hmmm...I'm wondering, what would you guys think about me making a mask instead of doing the makeup?
