Thought I'd post in here. I'm going to dress in Pikachu kigurumi on Day 1. I was wondering if there was going to be any other shoots besides the one on Day 2?

POKEMON COSPLAYERS, WE NEED YOU!

I know I have said it before here, but after the photoshoot on day 2 (noon, esther short park) there will be pokemon gijinka battles. The problem is, not many people are participating so far. There might even be a battle skit in the cosplay contest, but again, WE NEED MORE COSPLAYERS TO JOIN. Check out the thread on it, (http://www.kumoricon.org/forums/index.php?topic=15858.15) I'm begging you.

(yeah.... I know that sounded desperate. But I kind of am by now. Officially, only 1 trainer and 2 pokemon are participating!!! We need MORE.)

I will be there as Gary, so expect to see some douchebaggery... (All jokingly and in relatively good taste as I am actually a bit shy and pretty nice... or so I am told...)

I am supposed to have a Red as well but he might not be able to make it. I will have 6 Pokemon and they may have posted here (my Red too) so I don't want them to be double counted. XD

Lilineko: I love Umbreon! It's one of my favorite Pokemon, though I've never actually been able to have one in game... I should still be around at nightfall though I'm not positive about that. I'm going to be wearing his purple shirt (itistotallypurpleandnotbluehwatarryoutalkingabout) and orange-y boots combo. It's the most recognizable and the easiest for me to pull off.

I'm looking forward to being hunted.

Randompvg: you sound like a lot of fun.

I try to keep my shenanigans down to a tolerable level, lol.

Oh man Domino is so awesome. I wish she'd show up again! They need her now! Johto had the best Rockets, I swear. I am the Domino from SakuraCon this year; Though I know the other Rocket cosplayers there from conventions, I didn't go to Sakura Con with them, so I have no idea if they go to KumoriCon or not. It'd be awesome if they showed up, though!

I'll be roaming around with a tall amazing Count (she went to Sakuracon 2011 without me and was a big success) on the third day, so that should make things a bit easier...

I'm hearing so much about early generation pokemon cosplays, I think that the staff would have done well to put a fith gen pokemon cosplay in the bingo.

Then again, I've only heard about one or two of those. I was seriously considering doing a Virizion gijinka, once, but I figured that seeing the fanbase of pokemon, INCLUDING the most recent generation, shrinks with each one, hardly anyone would recognize my cosplay.

Lilineko, you should hear this. I borrowed a sewing machine from my neighbor to finish my costume, and she was over to help us hook it up, and she was asking what this was for. So I showed her the pictures I took last year and she LOVED your Vaporeon.

Also, to all, I'm like 98% done with Ghetsis. I just have to get some double-sided tape for the eyepiece and make a few of them just in case (since they're made from foam rubber and cellophane). I'm also bringing some props in case of N.

I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for you, especially on the third day! I LOOOOVE Gankutsuou so much and it makes me sooo happy when other people love it too!!!
Haha, that would have been great. XD Franz is probably my favorite character and I wanted to cosplay him but had to come to terms that Albert suits me more and what kind of poses could the Count and Franz take together without an Albert, lol...

Help!!! I can't get my Umbreon Ears to stand straight up on my headband. I used velcro but it didn't work. Ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Run wire through them and through the heaband in such a way that they stand up?

Oh, it's just a watch battery. Open the back to get it out and just slap the new one in. You can find watch batteries at Fred Meyer and similar stores, so they're pretty simple to get.

Well I just got to a computer to say this, but I forgot my costume hanging on the dining room chair at home :/ No kimono for me! I also missed the photo shoot cause I slept in :p Oh well, was still fun. Hope you all had/have fun too
