i think ima stick with smaller groups. i think this is too big in my opinion. if you guys have it in a park or a MUCH bigger place, that actually LIKES or doesn't mind us, then i'm cool with that. this was just too much of a headache, so i kinda just sorta drifted away after i saw many have left.

Perhaps if there was a warning before hand, and with the slight mention that a good lot of us will be buying something whilst there (that ALWAYS helps persuade malls, I promise). I love a good lot of the quotes we were tossing around but seriously, out of context to a public who doesn't quite get the situation may have looked quite bad. XD

Also, I don't know who was the England France combo, but I've loved your set up. I wished I had a camera~ ;_;

The mall was allright with the Final Fantasy meetup that was there a few months ago, wonder why now is any diffrent? Perhaps we were just THAT loud.

I'm gonna have to agree with borzoi_feet. We acted pretty loudly and con-like. Whether you bribed them with money or not, I think we could've been a little quieter. XD;; It was only a mall.

To the one who chose the pair of mail tubes and the gifts within, I never got a chance to mention that they were hand made by yours truly, and that you can play with a friend using one each, or use both at once against others of their kind. Also shortening the tubes a little can turn them into good sheaths for them.

@borzoi: also the problem was that you guys didn't call the mall ahead of time... that's why they probably kicked you out cuz they weren't expecting this big of a group. my dad is a teacher in the portland area, and he said if you have a group bigger than 20+ you MUST call the mall ahead of time to let them know how many ppl will be going, and they will also give you a list of rules!

THAT was my biggest problem...

Haha, I think you did a perfectly fine job! If anything, you remained quieter then most of everyone else!

We were just that loud ^^;;. The Lloyd Center hasn't really liked cosplay nor tolerated it much since Kumo 2008 at the DoubleTree.

Other than that it was fun (was the other Sealand with Denmark, Norway, Iceland, and Sweden). It's making me consider a Hetalia cosplay for con; just not sure who. Maybe Seychelles. Gives me an excuse to fix the costume and make a giant tuna.

I can understand where they're coming from, though. I mean, we overran the mall that year and pissed off the shop owners. So I can see why they don't like us, especially when we have a meet-up with such a... uhh... *tries to figure out how to say it* ... with such a rambunctious fandom. ^^;;

that is WHY i hate the lloyd center i can go into it anytime i want, but when ppl like "otaku" or  "weebos" come in and infest the place, that's when i get agitated cuz they are VERY loud. i mean i'm an otaku, i can be calm about things, but then again i'm mature about being in public places. darn u loud and obnoxious teenagers <-< if only there was a way to shut u guys down XD

See, i don't MIND people getting loud at cosplay meetups (in my opinion, i think it makes it more exciting). I just think people should know when and when not to get loud.
Outside/at a park/arcade/con = Good place to be as loud and annoying as you want.
Mall/resturant/practically any other store = Not a very good place to be loud and annoying.
