The January date was mostly Osla's idea. She wanted it to be on Prussia's birthday, but that's on a Tuesday and so we just made it the next weekend.

I'm going to England and Scotland next year and I'm hoping to take some shots of me in my Norway outfit on the Orkney islands~ (for those of you who don't get the historical reference, Norway invaded the Orkney and Shetland islands which both belonged to Scotland and claimed them as Norwegian territory for quite some time.)
I also heard they have an awesome Norwegian dance club there which I want to go to.

Uh *insert sweatdrop here* I can't get to the pictures because I'm using school computers..-stinking anti-photo people!- but I'm not that hard to find. During the Photoshoot I was the only Italy that wore a Monoke bunny on his back. - that's the photo where I'm tackling a germany and Japan doesn't even care-. I don't know who has that photo but that is where I am. I only found me once..

 I love being italy. he's the only character that I fit perfectly personality wise. - was an Italy camera fail._ KyoKyo866 happily captured this on her youtube account. If you watch Todd Haberkorn - did I name butcher?*insert gasp*- 's authograph signing on youtube you should see me. I'm the Italy that, with a camera phone, almost failed to capture an image.. .. ^ ^' does that help?

I like Malaria's idea about a post-USSR.
I always think it would be great to see a Kievan Russia cosplay. They had some pretty nifty looking outfits, particularly for the nobles.
I was very close to doing a Cossack Russia this year, because they have some pretty cool outfits too, but chose USSR instead.
(as a side note: I once saw an imperial Russia cosplayer walking around with someone dressed as Anastasia and I flipped out. Hahaha)

I thought Kievan Rus was usually characterized as a separate father-like nation to the little Slav siblings.
But if you do Kievan Rus!Russia you have to have Ukraine. It's her city, she deserves it. >3<

Yes I suppose. I guess I'm just more in the actual history mode that I consider it early Russia, whereas in the Hetalia world it wouldn't make a lot of sense. But yes, if you went with that idea a Ukraine would be a good idea.
Though the Cossack and post-USSR versions are a good idea too. At least in my opinion ;]
Or if you could do a cool Czar or Prince Russia idea that might turn out lovely, though maybe a touch more obscure to some people? Haha.
