Currently suffering from post-con syndrome right now, but once that is over I think I will be far too excited for next year for a little longer than should be right. The under 18 panel on the otherhand will happen, me and my girlfriend already have a few ideas for it.

That was my octopus, by the way. ^^ I certainly enjoyed both, but I must admit the 18+ made me rather uncomfortable at times. I know no one meant any harm, but at the same time it felt some people felt they HAD to push buttons because it was the 18+ panel. Dare I say it felt more childish. But I'm pretty sure I must've done or said something that was uncomfortable to others as well (I was the cheesy martial arts movie!Hong Kong) and for that I apologize.

I had fun! Alot of fun! But I felt dead after the panel. I don't like GerIta AT ALL and I felt like I was forced to feed into the GerIta fandom... So thats why I did.....

Next year I will be italy again....

That younger Canada's vast knowledge of cannabis just blew. Me. Away. I did research for HK's handling for the plant, but not that much. That was awesome.

I feel that should be an added rule, along with making sure others don't bring up Nazi and other inappropriate jokes we should try to not overwhelm other's OTPs. There were a few others, but obviously what takes the cake is the USUK VS FrUK. Really not needed. There are excellent fan art/fiction/comics from all sides. No OTP should be labeled better than the other.

Terribly sorry if this sounds snobbish/annoying, but I also wish for people to do some research into what their countries are doing recently (unless you are cosplaying a historical time) for next year. Especially those doing Germany and Russia/USSR. Of course, this is Hetalia and I shouldn't let that irk me so much hurhurhur... otz

I didn't go to 18+ panel but I have noticed some people on here and at k-con getting a little crazy about the cross the Germany and Prussia ware. Just to clear the air about this that cross was first a church symbol for peace and not meant for the evil that Hitler turned it in to. Not getting on any one about it but I was hearing a lot of comments on it this weekend when I was walking around with some friends and from a friend that tried being cool to history and getting a real one. so if you hear anything about it just tell them it wasn't evil just Hitler and his mind were.

I just wanted to say as well I had a load of fun at the first panel for all ages!!! XD you all rock for making my first con amazing!!

I was the panelist 'Pirate'-England for under 18 and Seychelles for 18+ (the 'Pirate' was due to not being able to run and get the outfit and get back to the room in fifteen minutes after the Kuro panel)

I think the under 18 went great, though we'll have questions more suited to multiple nations last time. A lot of the topics on the list were GerIta, Germany, England, America, and USUK vs FrUK-centric. I don't know HOW that happened (we seemed to be missing a lot of topics from the forum list on the printed one), but Chibi and I will work to get a better list for next year.

We'll also try to showcase more pairings, instead of the 'popular' ones, or highlighting one pairing over another. I'm not sure HOW we'll do it just yet, but we'll try.

Also, this is a note for everyone; we're gonna try to get Live Events for next year. Those who didn't get in; I'm sorry, but we couldn't just break fire code, ya know? xD We packed everyone we could in the room, but the room has a max limit we MUST OBEY. And those who signed up on the forums kinda get first swing at the room.

Thanks to everyone who helped me clean the room before the 18+. That was very helpful. However, a lot of that panel was not. Con rules were broken, and I plan to complain about the Yojimbo not stepping in to help. I tried, but by the end of the panel I had a major stress headache, a near anxiety attack, and got expressed into the elevators by staff so I could get to my room and lay down. u.u Maybe, eventually, we'll try it again, but 18+ does not give us free reign to break con rules. Hetalia is a rowdy fandom, and that's okay. We tried to stop things from getting out of hand with the rules at the beginning, but very quickly they started to get ignored. We didn't bring up any of the raunchier and 18+ questions because of how fast things got out of hand.

Next year, if we get Live Events, I was thinking of getting Chibi to request a microphone. That certainly helped me out in the two Kuroshitsuji panels.

trust me when I say you didn't hurt me at all or annoyed me, the last con I went to a Russia cosplayer was way to in character and hurt my wrist when garbing me and dragging me away from my friends with out my consent I was freak out and scared.
My friend had to pry her hand off. Every con I take on Russia cosplayers being the only Latvia cosplayer I know, I get harassed a bit by them. But you where very nice and understating with limits.

Yes! Between us both next year were gonna make it the best one yet. The idea I have to set it up is more like the one I was in at SacAnime. I'll go into details later on.

I don't think we should really do any pairings at all. And if we do, it should be cannon ones. (Like Lithuania X Belarus and Austria X Hungary) But still, even thoughs can set people off.

True, it would be best if we kept it relatively vague with actually pairing anyone up and did our best to stay (believe it or not) to character with how each Nation is portrayed on acting towards each other. _{Though I would think it is more Lithuania -> Belarus than Lithuania X Belarus~}

And it was no problem helping to clean up. I only wish I could have done more to help out. My mind kept blanking out with how crazy things were getting (with the convention in general, not just in the panel).

Agreed on the pairings thing, unless it was a general pairing topic where we'd discuss being paired with people wheather we like them or not, not a specific pairings. (I don't particularly like Liet x Pol though i understand why they're a popular pairing)

Under 18 meeting was fun but I agree on the topics being a single person or 2 people centric but it still was a lot of fun.

18+....That was sooo out of hand and I totally understand how we aren't allowed to do it anymore....I wish we could do it again but we obviously need several set rules for it to even be tolorable...Personally I even got annoyed with some of the sexual things happening. At one point we had like 3 mini scenarios going on and it was hard to pull people back into continue the meeting(which it seriously wasn't a meeting by the end of the night.)

What we could do is be a little more organized and have set skits or scenerios if we have them. Like me as England putting the collar on to Seychelles at the 18+ pannel, that was planned by the two of us but I had no idea when to do it...I mean little things like that can be entertaining but maybe in a set area of the meeting instead of all happening at the same time or in the middle of someone's sentence. So if someone wanted to so something like that maybe ask the people in charge via the forums before hand and ask 'when would be a good time to do___' and then they could say 'slip it in after ___ topic' or something like that.

I seriously though the whole thing was GREAT and I would love to do it again....but maybe...a little bit more organized. ^_^

I agree with fullmetal completly about this .n. the way I'm thinking for next year is having one of each conrtry we can get all up front and then the rest be audiance members and have the whole thing run more like a Q and A. The way its working in my mind atleast, it seems a bit more managable and easier to actually plan things with the ones who sighned up.
