FINALLY got a reply back from my commissioner! Hit-Girl should be finished next week! SO FREAKING EXCITE.

Also ordered my new Sweeney belt! After it gets here then I'll just have to weather it a bit.

How dark would you say that green is btw? I was planning on dying it with some blue to use it for this http://images.wikia.com/scottpilgrim/images/8/87/Ramona-Flowers.png but it looks way darker then the image on Taobao, the blond one looks way darker too actually so I'm hoping it's just the lighting, hahaha.

Also don't worry if they are darker, I can still use the blond one for a ton of **** and I have my old Ramona Flowers wig that I don't mind using for Sakuracon and I can use the green one for when I do Matryoshka Gumi if it's as dark as I think it is.

The lighting is making the blond one really red for some reason. But it's just the right color for that figma I saw you were doing the outfit for.

The green is just about the color you see right there in the picture. It did look much lighter on the taobao site, but it's got some blue strands in it so you might be able to make it that teal color. I don't dye many wigs D:

If it's that color I don't think there's much I can do with the dying, or at least I wouldn't wanna try. Pooooop I don't blame taobao though, it's seriously super hard to find a wig that is that Seafoamy green with out it being like, actually green. But now I will be cosplaying Gumi sooner then later so Dana will be happy I'm sure, hahaha.

At least the black wig turned out to be black. I didn't take a picture of that one because it's about as black as black can get

Hey Caitlin when do you think we'll be getting the second order? I can't wait for my Stocking wigs! Also I'll pay you as soon as I can, the bank made the wrong type of account for me ugh so that's pushing back setting up my paypal. But I have the money in cash, it exists.

The wigs are the last piece I need, I received my petticoat today and lol it is SO FREAKING SHORT. Which is perfect because Stocking's skirt is short. Spring break has started for me so I think I'll be able to finish the costume before school starts again! All I need to do is make the skirt, get my blazer back and sew the buttons back on, locate one of my missing shoes, and get the wigs and sew them together. I am so excited for this costume!

And then all I need for Princess Bubblegum is my wig and then once I get it I need to straighten it and cut the bangs and then that costume is done too :D

FINALLY SPRING BREAK!!! I'm going to start sewing stuff to sell with all of the craploads of fabric I have sitting around so I can make money to buy fabric to make cosplay with! Yay for free time! Which I hardly have any of! EVER!

Second order will be here about a week and a half after I pay the store.

Which would happen if they would get back to me with a quote asd;fjhalkdjfh if I wake up and there's a quote in my inbox I will note everyone involved in the new order with their total and my paypal address before I even freaking get out of bed.

Wigs should be to everyone about two/three days after I get them in the mail (unless I'm giving them to people at Sakuracon or otherwise).

Bahaha! Did some actual progress today. Got all the pieces to Kokonoe's jacket sewn together today. I'm just missing the collar and the sleeves. I need to go to JoAnn's for more fabric since the sleeves are weird and hit up Goodwill for another check on shoes and pants while I'm out.

all my costumes are so close to being done. All that is left for N is the wig and hat, and all that is left for Date is to finish sewing the trim on the sleeves, the details on the back of the jacket, a little paint on the swords, and to make some black wrist cuffs.

-Ordered Russia contacts

-Ordered contacts, make-up, and got a shirt for my HiNaBN Zombie. Now for this cosplay all I need is materials for the white pieces of hair, some tights and/or leggings, and maybe a new pair of knee-high boots.

Stumbled upon shoes for Kokonoe while looking for boots for Touko. Win.

Got some stuff in the mail! The tactical component of the costume is coming along great.

Ordered more things today for it, and ended up finding the things I need to make the smoke grenade! Slowly but surely I'm getting closer to getting all the things I need for it.

I didn't see the post for your Keiji wig till now. It looks great. I am so excited to see your Gakuen. I need to finish mine up too. All that is left for the Gakuen version is the black wrist cuffs so I may sew those tonight at my job.

Productive day of win.

So I went and got the extra fabric for the sleeves and tried to cut one out. Not happy with how it looked, but I'm going to roll with it and see how it looks all put together. If I don't like it, I have the rest of the fabric to try again, so all is well.

I also found a hat for Touko while at JoAnn's. Had to go to Michael's to get fabric paint for it since they were out of the light pink at JoAnn's, but I'm currently waiting for the top part to dry so I can paint the underside and pokeball. :] Also plan on messing up my shorts for Touko tonight.

And finding scissors so I can cut the needed parts off of Kokonoe's shoes and start painting them.

I wish I had pictures to put up, but I don't sadly.

Yeah Nikki, PUT YO GUNS ON :DDD

So I finally got the lump of cement looking like I wanted it to. Hand-carved insulation foam, a metric f***ton of Bondo, some gray spraypaint, some black spraypaint, and a lot of mud. Gonna put it on my pipe tomorrow and hopefully I'll have my signs done by Tuesday at the latest. Then all I'll have to do is get some sunglasses, find a bowtie, make my vest and find some pants and shoes.

The jacket is done and everything is put together minus the swords. I just need to do a little painting on them and they are done. I didn't take any progress pictures like I said mainly because I have grown to hate progress pictures. That may change once I find someone who actually knows how to take pictures

Nyaha, we should totally get pictures at Sakuracon. I'll bring the caution tape.

Also, the cement block is seriously just a block of five or six layers of insulation foam, glued together and then carved into a vaguely cement-esque shape, slathered in bondo, spraypainted gray, spraypainted with some black and then rolled in mud. I should have taken more pictures- I could have made a tutorial.

I was planing on wearing N Thursday but I think I will wear Date. That way I don't have to redo my hair Friday morning and I will be able to start getting dressed. It doesn't take too long to get into that outfit but normally it takes 15 minutes for me to get ready entirely and it takes about 15 minutes just to get that on without the makeup x.x
