Both those Stocking wigs look nice, but I agree the second just seems more accurate and thicker. (And how do you order from taobao? I wouldn't mind getting my hands on that wig myself, it's so nice!)

Do you have a Paypal? If absolutely nothing will work then we can probably do a money and wig transfer at Sakuracon, but I think the money would be wanted earlier than that.

Opinion for you all then @A@

I'm looking for a heat resistant wig that is first as close as possible to the color of my cyperous wig as I can possibly get (Number 144, if you click on it a bigger picture shows up) and secondly a decently thick one (Basically, as long as it's not cosworx thin, I'm good.

Which out of these two do you think is the best choice
Choice 1. It's shorter so it might be thicker, and on my computer it looks a little bit closer.
Choice 2. Longer, so it might be thinner, but I really like the color mixture on this wig.

Yes, we should! I'll hopefully be down in February or March to visit during a three day weekend/spring break. I'll keep you updated, plus, Laurie, (my Kida) is tagging along, too.

I'll go with the first then.

As for progress, I cut off the edges of my Ramona Flowers hammer and paper mached them. Gonna do another layer tomorrow, and probably get some bondo to start going over it. I'll probably also sand my skate board for Lucas Lee.

I hope no one minds me just appearing in here all the sudden...

Two of my costumes are practically finished because they're just reuses from last year... They need some touch-ups, though. (Fabric shavers are a beautiful invention. They resurrected my damaged felt fabric costume.)

I'm going to need to start and finish my Utsuho costume this school term, though. I managed to work it into one of my classes as a graded project for it. (Get in-class credit for working on a project I would have done anyway? Win.) One arm cannon and concrete(esque) leg brace coming up soon.

@Nyahaha- Yeah, I covered the board in painters tape and then cut out the 2's with an exacto knife and then painted it :>

Sweatbands for Leigh Lucas. Made the sweatbands so I could save some money. Gonna hem the shirt tonight and then borrowing a wig and getting cigarettes are left.

SO MUCH PROGRASSU

Yesterday I went to Old Navy and found a perfect shirt for Listen! Mugi. I've been killing myself trying to find one, but this one is awesome and adorable and I can wear it with normal clothes, too.

The petticoat is standing in for my white skirt, and I'll make that soon.
Old Navy also had a perfect jacket, but I didn't have my refs and I wasn't sure so I didn't buy it, so I'll need to go back and buy it soon.

Then today my grandma took me to Fabric Depot and helped me pick out fabric for Princess Bubblegum! We found a perfect slightly shiny pink for the main dress, and an iridescent purple for the belt and collar. I also have a wig picked out from Taobao.

The colors are a bit off in this picture, everything looks way better irl.

So I made a pattern for Kuronosuke's dress. I just need to get my friend's measurements so I can make it for him. I need to also get some fake pearls for the dress/necklace. All in due time.

Tao's hood is done, I need to fix her shorts, and get more tan fabric to make the jacket. I started on the sleeves. I plan on making the paws pretty large is filled with stuffing so I can use them as pillows. ♥♥♥

HNNNG KURANOSUKE/KURONOSUKE/FABULOUS CROSSDRESSER

I just made a practice Princess Bubblegum bodice out of some cheap fabric I had laying around.
Oh god I'm so scared, there are like six darts in it and I'm hardcore modifying the pattern. If I mess up on my nice fabric, I'll seriously cry.

It turned out pretty well except I messed up on one of the darts, but that's fine.
The only thing is that the fabric is kind of wrinkly and I'm worried it'll be too loose in the waist. The fabric thing might just be that I'm using cheap cotton that's been in a pile for a year, but it's still worrying.

I'm bondo-ing my Ramona Flowers hammer right now. I'm going to finish ng that done today and let it sit over night, and then sand it tomorrow and see if I need to add more bondo. If not then it's just a little wood filler here and there, primer, paint and weathering.

I finally started up again on working on things.
Today I started work on Shiny Umbreon and I have all the fabric cut for the clothes.
I'm waiting for Griff to get home so I can get his advice on length for the skirt and tightness for the shirt.
I can't decide if I want the shirt really baggy or just a little baggy... :/ I could even make it tight cause the fabric has a bit of stretch to it...
And the skirt...I know I want it shorter but I don't know how much shorter. It's hard to see myself and see what looks good since I don't have my full length mirror anymore.

I think I am going to start working on the ears and tail...
Then I get to decide if I want to sew the ears into a wig, on a headband, or onto the hood of the shirt.
Tail is going to be sewn onto the skirt unless it's too heavy and then I'll turn it into a belt and either add loops to the skirt or attach it to some panties and cut a hole in the skirt for it to go through so it looks like a real tail...

So many choices...

I think that sewing the ears onto a wig looks best. But a hood is good too~

I found a microphone for DWC Miku today~ I'm gonna look for some white and blue roses to put on it soon. Maybe I'll stick some gems onto it too...
