whew so taokakas zipper now looks like one.... and im slowly adding velcro to keep the arm openings closed when need be.... next : add a hole for the tail and hair

I just bought my Lina cosplay! I should be getting it in about 3 weeks, plenty of time for Sakuracon! (I just hope to get my wig soon enough to give to nekovamp so she can Lina-tize it).

Seriously, I can't wrap my mind around how you make half of the stuff you do.... insanity.

In other news my white blazer got in today for my Genderbend Gideon Graves costume, it's so insanely nice I can't believe I got it for only $17 all together. I am in love. Now I just need to replace the buttons with black ones, add the Chaos Theater symbol on the lapel, and get the skirt, glasses, and undershirt. Terrible lighting in this pic, but I have to share my excitement!

Made Marceline's dress~

Also ordered some body make-up and lilac tights. Need to get some fabric paint for the tights and buy some shoes that I can cut up a little.
Also need the fabric paint for her umbrella, which I've deemed "skele-brella"

My progress is pretty much in the planning stages. I still haven't even decided for sure who I'm cosplaying yet.

At this point, I'm planning to do game-version Barret Wallace, and Ox King from Dragonball Z (or possibly Dragonball).

That's all at this point. So, 5% done, lol.

Matsumoto's necklace is done

I'm working on home-grown classic-style jewelry to go with an outfit right now, but I'mma finish Haineko soon as I can. Soon as I get paid... Well, geez, I dunno what I'm gonna do when I get paid. Probably go to Victoria's Secret and get a bra for Matsumoto and go look at curly clip-on ponytails at that wig store in the mall.

Ah. Sadly, the only constructive feedback that I could give (which I think I've already said) is that I was wrong about the shade of the wig. It was a great shade.

Yeah the pictures I take of the wig really don't show its true color. I need to take pictures of it outside in order for people to see the actual color.

I am planing on taking Gakuen Date progress pics today and about half of the armor for his regular outfit is almost done so I will get pictures of that as well. I may work on the leather chest plates today if I get bored. Since I am going to try to go to fanime I am going to try to get the whole costume done by May

The club I advise voted on what con we'd go to this year, and Fanime was #3 on the list, if I recall correctly. I hope to go some day.

I think it'd be funny to go wearing an Anaheim Mighty Ducks jersey just to see how many people I'd annoy. (Not a Duck fan, either; I like the Blues).

I am so totally finished with making jewelry for recreational purposes. I hate dropping half-finished works and having beads go all over the carpet :\

Found a wig and extensions for Keiji, but buying those can wait until after Sakuracon. As of now I'm still trying to decide on a design for him I like the most. Varying degrees of detail in every design from every game + the anime, much?

Haineko is done

The lighting is doing something funny to the colors here, but I swear that tsukamaki is burgundy, not bright orange-y red.

ALSO! My wig shipped today. Should be here anywhere between the ninth and twenty-fourth of next month. See if I ever buy from Ayanamisatoru ever again, the shipping time is terribad :\

I got a confirmation e-mail that my payment for my Lina costume has been finalized. Now I just need them to finish it up & mail it over. (I'm so glad that the company making it is from the Empire State. (Bonus love points if you can name what state that is WITHOUT looking it up!)
