I'm Sad.....I still had to go to work on that lovely snow day. But the weekend is dedicated to props. Perhaps I will give Way to the Dawn a break and work on my Angel Arms Factory Revolvers. Or just push through and get er done.

Excuse any largeness this image might have, I'm working off my phone here.

My Senna wig is almost done! Whether or not it fits on my head is the kicker though. I made the wig head bigger with tinfoil, so I hope it does :\

The ribbon needs to be a bit darker but for right now it's fine. Gonna work on Mirokumaru this weekend.

Guuuuuh I hate that like no other. Had that problem with my clay art projects all the time. One bust of a head I did cracked and flaked so bad that it looked like the bust of a person with leprosy.

Just did a trial run for my middle eastern/man look for my Sultan Turkey. Didn't turn out too bad. I may post a pic or something when I attempt it again, minus the facial hair.

The hardest part of Miku is going to be all the details, the legs, and the corset bodice.
The hardest part of Cubone is going to be the skull and bone... not sure exactly what I should make them out of. Suggestions?

aww the picture isn't showing. I found a great tutorial on faun hooves and legs if you would like. The girl said that they were comfy, but I haven't made mine yet so I don't know if thats true xD

I am going to get all my armor done today. There isn't a whole lot left, mainly painting and attaching elastic. I also plan on trying to make the belt when I get home tonight. Maybe tomorrow I can alter the pants.

Fixed the pictures. XP My friend Ashlee made some legs that I think I'm going to try... Also, she's wearing heals, so I was going to do heals instead of hooves. I kinda made a sketch of what I think I'll do in the pic that didn't show up. lol

Bought all the major components for my downtime costume for Sakuracon. The heels I'm bringing with to wear with my lolita coord will kill me if I wear them too long, so I need something comfortable to bum around in and be bros with people in. I'm not gonna wear my shihakusho 15+ hours a day and then continue to do so into the wee hours of the evening. No siree.

Just need to get paid (which hopefully will happen in a couple days) so I can place a wig order and I'll have bought the major things for Sakuracon. I might actually be done two months beforehand, gaiz.

Today I'm going to get the bias tape and elastic that I need to finish PB!
And I just got a ton of coupons for Joann's that are good next week, plus Tuesday is my birthday so I'll actually have money :3 I'm also going to look at Forever 21 for things I can use for my costumes since I still ave a bunch of gift cards to use there.

Accomplished a few cosplay things today. I bought this cute purple dress at Ross the other day and I'm just modifying it for LSP, once I hem the waves or lumps on the bottom I do believe that'll be done, and then I just need to buy purple tights and body paint, and make a new star. I also made a headband and found my favorite pair of drumsticks for Ritsu, to finish that cosplay I only need to hem some sleeves on the shirt, get a blue ribbon, and style my wig.

I am pretty stoked for Sakuracon ~

It's more important that you have fun with it than that you look like the character, though.

I got most of the work done on my cosplays that I can right now. I can't do too much more because I am waiting on things to dry and I need more money to buy fabric and what not.

I just want the freaking resin to dry so I can sand it down and possible put another layer on the other side of my swords to fill in the cracks from my clay. I'm hoping it will be done by tomorrow night. Its very close as is.

I'm severely annoyed at antiperspirants >> Secret works ok but I still sweat with it. I'm wearing Dove and have been wearing it for all of... maybe 20 min and I'm sweating in it too. *grumbles* I really don't sweat that often but every time I wear my Secret or Dove, it MAKES me sweat. WTF?! -.-
I have a 'clinical strength' Secret. Tetra 14% in dove, tri 19% in secret, and tri 20% in clinical. Really why is clinical 20% of the exact same chemical that's in normal secret- that's tri 19%?! It's not a stink I wanna cover cause I only stink when I sweat (strange I know...).

SO WHY ARE THEY MAKING ME SWEAT?!

*reads clinical's directions* 'apply at night'. like what before going to bed? 'to take advantage of various temperature changes'... yeah ew I don't wanna sweat in my sleep oO;

Love my new Vash sunglasses. I feel like wearing them all the time but I don't want to ruin them since I have a long history of smashing my sunglasses.

I also found the revolver from some company in England but i don't think I can justify paying $90 for it. So I will continue my labor of love and shape it out of foam.

I have two cos plays I want to work on both are from the kingdom hearts series. I want to try to cosplay as aqua and/or a dancer nobody. I have a shirt that I can start with to make the nobody costume but sadly I'm not sure if I have money to make either one of the costumes. I know what I would need for the Dancer so I have a better idea of what to do there. If I do aqua I'd have to buy or make the costume, get temporary hair dye and get a keyblade most likely.
I want to cosplay but it's so hard with a lack of funds.

Nikki- resin shouldn't take so long to dry. Did you put enough catalyst in it? Was the container you used wet at all? If resin gets water in it it will never cure.

So I started painting the design on Keiji's shirt yesterday. Gotta make the sleeves into short sleeves and finish his belt rope thing, but I need my feathers first. My beanie baby monkey I'm using for Yumekichi should be coming today, but I have a paper and a project due on Friday so I'm going to wait until next week to work on him.

Gotta start fixing up Vaclav soon. Everything else is kinda done
