Yeah, we're not using a shopping service, we're ordering directly from that store. It's cheaper that way :\

Did a lot of hardcore math for costumes... And figured out, really seriously, what ones I want to keep or sell. And what ones to buy. Nose to the grinding stone and all that >3

I got my Princess Bubblegum body paint today!

It looks purple-y in the pic, but it's really pink irl. I just kind of slapped it on to see how it would look, but it went on really easy and wasn't splotchy or anything. It's also slightly transparent, which is exactly what I wanted. It's Mehron StarBlend is anyone is curious.

Now all I need is my wig and I'm completed finished with Princess Bubblegum! Ah I can't wait!

It looks good! Have you made the crown yet? And  I just got an update from Cici, and the items were ordered. Some of them were out of stock (not your PB wig) but everything that was in stock was ordered today.

Haley- Thank you! And not yet, I still gotta figure out exactly what I'm making it out of. I was suggested to try craft foam, but I might also get the thick paper that you used for your Max costume. What exactly is that? Also YESSSSSSSSS. So they get our stuff in 3-4 days and we get it in around 10? So like two weeks? HNNNNNNG I CAN'T WAIT.

Holly- Thank you also! I was originally going to get Ben Nye, but they didn't sell the right kind of pink. If you want I can link you to the website I bought it from, they have a slight discount. The only thing is that shipping is a bit expensive, but I placed my order on Monday night and it arrived today. I've also heard good things about one of Mehron's other brands but I can't remember the name.

That would be nice. :3 I can buy Ben Nye through the UO bookstore, so I don't have to pay shipping costs if I buy it. I just have to have exactly what I want (numbers and such) to give them. I do the same with Copic marker stuff. :3

I just have one more edge to add to Kokonoe's bracelets, then I need to add another layer if needed. Then I get to put the beveled pieces on and let that sit before sanding it. I'll probably do that tonight, and finally cut out the pieces for the jacket so I can see how much extra fabric I'll need to buy for the sleeves.

Then tomorrow I can go over to my mom's and start sewing!

Bought my wig for B&W heroine. It's really cute. I have the shirt and shorts, I just need to hit up goodwill for some hiking boots, and a possible jacket. Then the hat. :]

Also, started finally cutting out fabric and remembered that I hate my scissors because they're freaking dull as all hell. Tomorrow I'm going to goodwill, so I'll just bring my fabric and steal one of my mom's scissors.

Maybe this is my own ignorance, but can't you just buy pokeballs?  It seems like it'd be easier than painting half a ball red and giving it a belt design, and possibly cheaper.

Blah as far as cosplay progress goes I'm at the very bottom, I've only really gotten one thing done which Is make Harleys ribbons out of clay for my pokemon cosplay, and seeing as the people who I bought my wig from sent me a blue one instead of purple I still have no wig.

....I just realized I also started cutting my Yumi wig too...so maybe I'm not at the complete bottom.

Unless you know of some that are more than an inch big, those things are hard to find and expensive. :P I just looked for awhile.

You can but they look like toys. I want one that looks more realistic. Plus the only part I am painting on mine is the black part. And there are two sizes of the pokeball. The compact size and the normal size which is between a baseball and a softball (which is almost impossible to find). Plus I have gotten to the stage where I want to make as much as I can. There is also a rubix cube out there where the middle box is missing but I rather make it then buy one.

Bought the fur fabric for Miku's legs and the dress fabric for her, too, today. I'm not sure if I can work on it at all tomorrow though.
I want to go return bottles tomorrow so I can look for shoes and pants for the faun legs, but I don't know if I'll have time for that either.

By realistic, do you mean metallic?  Aren't they supposed to be made out of metal, or something?

Okay, non-cheap looking; that makes sense to me.  (Sorry, but I always thought that the outer part of the pokeballs looked like they'd be made out of some tough, high-quality plexiglass, or something).

So I worked on Kokonoe's jacket some today at my mom's. I didn't get much done because I was both distracted and tired, but I'm going again tomorrow and should have the skeleton of the jacket done. I just need to pick up more fabric for the sleeves while I'm out and figure out how I'm doing those.

I just need to do something about my eyebrows when I wear this outfit, 'cuz dang. They absolutely do not go with the color of this wig.

Still ordering more tactical pieces for Hit-Girl, and trying to get my commissioner to email me back with some info on the status of the costume. I hate it when I have to be the one to ask how things are going. I think it's unprofessional. And makes me nervous. :/

ANYWAYS.

How 'bout a list?

- 2 Bianchi M12 holsters
- Lemon smoke grenade
- Military suspenders
- Brass knuckles
- HK USP compact
- SIG-Sauer P230
- Belt keepers
- Military belt
- Knife sheath for S&W boot knife *eBay issues*
- 2 Baton rings

And that's just the tactical accessories. Not even counting the actual costume. Peace bonding's going to have heart failure. :B

So I have until Sakuracon to finish 2 commissions and 1 and a half of my own costumes...

At least I get $$$ from it </3

I'm sorry baby... I'll make sure to leave lipstick kisses on the cash.

Working on cosplay stuff right now because I can not sleep and am freaked out that Sakuracon is so close.

Dude, Richie, that Matsumoto wig is goygeous.

Ohmaigawd I knoooooow. It's so silky soft and I can't wait to wear it at Sakuracon.

Only thing I don't like about it is that the hairline is a little derp. It's sort of severe. If I absolutely have to I can fix that with some spirit gum and a lot of patience, but it would be such a bitka to take off again that it probably wouldn't be worth it.

greatarchy09 is the name of the eBay store, but it's Ayanamisatoru wigs. I didn't spring for faster shipping and so it took over a month for it to get to me, but I'm happy with what I got. They're a little more expensive than CosplayWig, but the fiber of my Matsumoto wig is so freaking soft ohemgee :3
