Painted Kokonoe's shoes. I just need to add the details and the piece that goes over the foot in the front and I'm done. Tomorrow I'll be going over to my mom's to work on the freaking sleeves and pants and will have access to my sealer and will finish off the shoes.

I need to finish styling the wig too. I have to do the flippy things and get a yellow scarf to tie around the pony tail. I won't have the funds to make the ears or tail until after Sak sadly.

KCon progress: Got my base wig for Scanty and it's pretty cool and bouncy but I don't think it's heat reistant so I'll probably have to dye it with FW ink even though I already bought RIT, wahhh.

Soooooo...

I got my Hit-Girl costume in the mail today and everything is wrong. Things don't fit, and there's no salvaging it in time for Sakuracon. I am so upset and disappointed. Had it gotten here by my deadline, it could have been fixed in time. I'm so frustrated.

Looks like I'll be Sweeney all three days, good thing I love being him.

I got lots of Aram's fabric on sale today >3 I need to go back at the end of the week and hope they have more white satin by then. No idea what to do for the patterns, so I'll have to look through simplicity later.

This crap, when it happens, only a swift punch (or knife) to the neck can fix.
I have gotten much done since my last update!
But! As far as Day to day goes, I feel like I'm not getting anything done... which is bad... so, I think maybe I should stay up all night working, because, seriously, I'm getting up at 6, going to a school I don't go to, to shoot a movie, going to my home high school at 8 and then schooling for 6 hours, going home and working on more cosplay while watching Glee, so!
8D If I do this, in theory, I should have one whole cosplay done.... in theory.
DO I HAVE ENOUGH STAMINA!? MOST LIKELY NOT! BUT LETS HOPE I DO!

I also know that feeling my frist peter white cosplay was black and red striped not how it shows so i rushed and had to redo everyhting on my own and I stiched my shirt to the fabric T_T

Quite the opposite problem: it's too small. Now I'm not a big person, but the unforgiving PVC pants would have been the death of me. The point of the character is to be able to do dynamic poses and whatnot, and there's no way I would be able to do anything like that given how tight some aspects of the costume are.

I would rather wait to be able to do justice to the character than try and make this work and be afraid to move or pose.

Thank you guys for your kind words, it really means a lot. I'm disappointed I won't be able to have it by Sakuracon, but it'll happen for Kumori and even sooner. It's still happening, and that makes me feel better.

Now I just need to wait for the commissioner to reply to my none-too-pleased email.

ON THE OTHER HAND, Sweeney's all ready to go! I'm NOT disappointed that I get to be him for all 3 days. C:

A few days ago I made a "1/8th" scale model of the skirt portion of Miku's dress. I needed to so I could figure out the cage skirt because the first measurements I took did NOT work out at all when I made a model of it. Opinions? Also need opinions about the shape of the train. Keep in mind it will have a 6 inch ruffle all the way around it and the top skirt will have a 2 inch ruffle along the bottom.

I got the pants I ordered for Soul and Simon, or whoever else could wear the white pants... I'm loving how good they fit. Even though they're petite they're still too long!! O.O The world is working against me.. But this is some of the best fitting pants I own. I have to brag about this to my mom on the weekend xD "I can buy pants that fit me!" And she'll see through me, and know they're for cosplay lol

I think the very end of the train is looking too boxy in your model... I think the wide rounded edges work, but the very end/center just looks too straight compared to the rest ...

Yay ordered patterns! I can officially start work for Aram after I get everything pre-washed and get the patterns in hand! >3

As for my progress...
I got more fabric today to finish my bf's Kigurumi and some to start my own since he wants me to run around with him in one.
Right now I only have the slip made for his. Arms are cut out but not sewn and I have the markings for the legs. Tonight or tomorrow I'll get the sleeves and feet done and then attach his hood. Then the base design will be done!

Then I just need to do all the details and add on his tail and booties.
He wants to be a green dinosaur. The time with the most effort will be either the fat tail or sewing on all the individual spikes on his back.

My friend did. She's pretty tall though.. When she ordered her Yuuki outfit from Vampire Knight, it was supposed to be white. It was the wrong size they sent and it had red spots on it like bleed areas. And apparently they were kind of slow to respond for the return/refund. She didn't even ask for another cause she was disappointed in the service.
The Allen jacket I got from QQCosplay by comparison is just like the pictures pretty much, but it's too big on me so they obviously didn't make it to my sizes ><

I actually bought two different wigs from Lucaille on TaoBao. In this pic they're just plopped on top of each other since I don't have time or money to buy a new one if I mess up horribly, but I plan on cutting the pink one into wefts and sewing them inside the blue one.

Do not use pant it runies it.. Use eye shadow it works so much better When i was sakura we used cut out the shape for the pattern on the feather and then we used it as a stencal and useds a dark punk eyeshadow.

For my Keiji feathers I just used a Copic marker. You're not supposed to use paint on feathers, you're supposed to use ink.
