I don't think Twilight Sparkle is happening for awhile, I'm not really sure. My friend Xyzleena just called me and was pretty much like "We have a my little pony group, we need a twilight sparkle and an applejack, are you and Meggan in?" So I just kind of jumped on that train, really just once the group tells me when it's happening I'll start work on it. The gijinka design I found is adorable IMO though so I'm pretty excited. =3

In other news I'm in the process of painting my cane/sword for Lady Gideon, just need to do the crystal top, add the chaos theater applique to the jacket, and buy my shirt and glasses and that outfit will be done. Hoping to finish up the outfit for Jacqueline tomorrow too, and will get the crown done in the next few days. My last outfit will only take an hour or so, so I'm feeling pretty good about my progress right now. =]

Lol dat call. I think that started with me and Olivia freaking out about MLP cosplay when Leena was around and we were like OMG MEGGAN AND KAITLYN NEED TO JOIN IN WITH US AJDSIOFJAISODF.

AJSDFJASIDJF So excited that we have a whole MLP group though. We should all talk about when to do it at Sak when we are broing out.*A* One of my friends is moving to P-town soon and does pictures, if we feel like doing it sometime this year we can probably do a shoot with you guys, Liver, Cassie and me over by that field by Zach's house. And it will give you a reason to come spend the night again~

BUT SAKURACON STUFF IS WHAT I SHOULD BE WORRYING ABOUT.
I'm working on Kumatora right now, but I need thread and more fabric to finish the hood, so I'm just ironing the stripes right now. Gotta make Olivia's belt tonight too.

If I can get both of those done tonight I won't be worried.

PS ALSO KAITLYN EXCITED FOR EVIL EX'S HNNNGH I GOT NEW LUCAS LEE PANTS YESTERDAY.

Finished my friends belt for her Strike Witches cosplay this morning. Stupid thing was difficult but I got it done. I'm working on my Kumatora dress right now but I have no one to help me pin the back because they are too involved with League of Legends :||||||

Hoping to finish my dress tonight though and start filling and sanding the sides of my Ramona hammer. Started doing laundry and packing as well and my boyfriend is suppose to get his shirt and staples for Duster done tonight.

Got the skirt in vinegar and washed. And the dryer kind of pulled the edges a bit so some of the seams edged out of the satin somehow... so I'll have to fix that when I get back to the dorm.

Depending on the color, you can get prescription contacts at just about any optometry office. I plan on getting my Liechtenstein eyes from America's Best.

The last time I looked at their selection, they had one style that were insanely expensive. I've seen various websites and business cards for places that have prescription reds. Here's a good one that I'll probably invest in...

I am currently in the midst of covering my fingers and arms in hair spray working on my friend's wig since I won't be going to Sak and now have less time to finish than I thought. (I leave tomorrow morning for Portland for about two weeks) So I'm kinda rushing the finishing touches tonight while I'm packing.

Kumatora is finished and ready for Sakuracon. Mostly I guess though. I still need to get a pin to attach the tongue to the dog and hand-stitch the hem around the hood but that is a job for in the car. Been slowing putting wood filler all over my Ramona Flowers hammer and Wensday I will be finishing that up along with my Ramona bag.

Got off work about an hour ago and have been working on stuff before my major cosplay work day that I'm having tomorrow..... My cane/sword for Lady Gideon is finally fully painted, and just needs to have the current top replaced with a sort of crystal looking one. The two black pieces in the picture assemble together to form the main part of the cane.... I'm actually really pleased with how this turned out.

I also am pretty much finished with my Jacqueline skirt after much procrastination, just need to fix up the hem and it will be 100% ready for Sakuracon. I'm not very good at sewing, so I'm happy with how it turned out, and the fact that it actually has a functioning zipper in the back. Ignore my yucky pajama top and cluttered basement. =]

So due to some issues that arose while painting my top today, I've decided to postpone wearing Jacqueline until Kumoricon... I feel like the costume is looking really low-quality, and I don't want to be stressing about pulling it together with so little time left. I feel like I'm always bailing last minute, but with how busy I am and how unexperienced I am with so many aspects of costume construction it kind of just tends to happen.

Luckily I got my glasses for Lady Gideon today, ~~and the dress for my Cheerleader outfit which I just need to write "Baby Daddy" on. Also about to glue the new top onto my cane/sword~~ and all that will be left is adjusting the skirt a bit more, and doing the Chaos Theater emblem since I forgot to grab the black iron-on today at the store. XD

EDIT: THE CANE/SWORD IS FINISHEDDDDDD!!!!!

My dress for Cheerleader from Team Girl Squad is also currently drying.... it's terribly hilarious. =3

Finished altering my tailcoat (all by myself for the first time ever; so I'm awfully proud. >w<) and painting my mask for the Masquerade. :3 I also made a monocle to go with but I'm not sure if I'll get used to wearing it by then. I can't even fit it under my eyebrow because it's pretty small; so I'm not so sure if I should bring it or not. ^^;

So, I believe I'm completely done with all the cosplay stuff (YAYOMG); so all that's left is the most important thing: Packing~ <3

My Sakuracon stuff is all pretty much done, AND I just dyed my Scanty wig since I'm sort of loafing around and I'm really excited. I was worried that it wasn't a heat resistant wig but it all worked out fine and I'm really liking the color. Can't wait to see it fully dry once I get back home, unf. RIT DYE IS THE BEEEST. Quick, easy, no horrible smell, cheap, easy to clean up.
