Everything is pretty much done since we're taking completed cosplays xD
I have to restyle my sisters Sora wig, fix my Roxas pants, maybe make a new vest for Roxas, and fix my pullstring on my orgy robe. I'm going to attempt to make Larxenes kunai's, but if they don't get finished, I have back up props

Got my stuff from We Love Colors! The colors look like they'll be perfect for Miku's skin tone~ The difficulty will be getting the plush fabric I got to match the leggings/tights. Pics:

Finally found a white pair of sweats online to use for my May Lee cosplay... ended up being a lot more trouble than I thought, since everything I was finding was either out of stock, too form-fitting, or weren't just plain white. Found a good normal pair for $20 though, so I'll just need to add the navy trim to those and they'll be perfect. =]

Now I just need to start planning on how to do her belt, gloves, and goggles.

I need to figure out how to get this thing to stay on my head pretty soon because holding it up and taking pictures at the same time is very difficult.

Also my wig is really heavy.

Richie, I think that whole costume is going to end up being very heavy... not just the wig. XD Either way you look like a BAMF.

Eh, I'll live. Vaclav was heavy on the hangar until I put everything on, this'll be no exception.

I am going to start working on the glove for the left hand that the shield will attach and I got some material for the glove that the weapon will attach too but it is too dark so I need to get more =/

Got my May Lee wig today!!!! Meaning I can start do some more shopping for the blue parts of the outfit since I can base all the other pieces off the color of the wig. I LOVE THE COLOR!!! It is a tad more blue than it shows here (mainly when in direct light) but I think the overall color and arrangement of the blue/black fibers is going to work for me. This is a picture of it right out of the bag, so I'll need to do a bit of spiking on the ends, and on that main bang piece to get more of that "flippy" effect her hair has.

Thanks! I tried to pick the character I thought I could pull off best and it seemed like May Lee would work well. =]

Sweet! Apparently Fuego at Pioneer Place has super cheap flower hair clips, usually I see them at Claire's for like $10 which is ridiculous, but Fuego had them for less than $3.

Things are coming together nicely:
Wig for female wolfwood is getting oil sheen right now,
cross punisher is all cut out and just need to glue and paint,
wolfwood cosplay is a bit iffy, but working on it
Vash jacket is still hanging in my closet and needs a bit of refitting,
Vash revolver is cut out and just needs some shaping, before I paint it.

Fuego is my go to place when I need hair accessories for a cosplay.... I ended up getting the black rose thing I needed for Chane's dress from there when I made it because like you said, it's only $3, whereas other places are at least twice as much. =]

I have a question. I have the shorts that came with the costume for Rikku and they are accurate but tight, and by tight I mean very very tight. I also bought a pair of green shorts at Fred Meyer a week ago that could work, they fit but they aren't as accurate (I will add the ruffles) so my question is which one should I use?

If you modify the second pair I think they'll be perfect, they're the same green color right?

I think you're best bet is to go with what fits better; if your shorts are too small you'll look bigger then you are, and Nichole you are DEFINITELY not big.

The second pair are a little darker. I'm hoping that if I lose a little bit of weight then it wont be a problem at all. But as a back up plan it would be nice to know that they would work.

I would have the materials ready for the second but don't make them. Have the accurate ones be your 'incentive pants' for your weight loss. If you have a fall back, you mentally set yourself up to fail because you have that safety net.
So don't make them but have it ready. Aim for the ones you have at full speed and I'm sure you'll get there~<3
