I'm terrible at looking at wigs DX
I'm oh-so-new to this, I can never tell if a wig is good quality or not.

I'm having a little bit of difficulty with Lizzy wigs, while we're kinda on that topic. Anyone seen anything that looks good?

I got home from a performance not too long ago. It was amazing. Performing always puts me in such a good mood.
And I can still see glitter in my peripheral vision. I have so much on my face. 

Back on topic, I'll try my absolute hardest to get my Alois kinda together for the photoshoot in January (here's hoping I can actually go), but he might look kinda . . . incomplete. And I don't think I'll have the wig by then. But maybe I'll manage to get a hold of my sister's Winry wig. 
But thinking about it now, he should be fairly easy to put together, aside from the coat and the wig. Yay!

I do have all of my Ash cosplay figured out though, it's all a matter of timing and money. I'll be able to afford it during the summer, but no sooner than that. However, the good thing is I know exactly what I'm going to do and where I'm going to get my items <3

Also agpgirl, you could probably update the list for my cosplay as I am for sure doing Ash and not Angela now :3

I personally liked the lizzy wig on cosplayfu.com. and i was looking at reviews for the really cool site and they seem to have great service. HOPEFULLY i can convince my dad that the dress is absolutely necessary. besides, i can reuse for a lizzy dress if i get it in red. also, my cosplays wont even be complete until about a week before kcon. But, im working on the weapons after winter break.

I might just have to pull together a Ciel cosplay, regardless of cons in the semi near future. It doesn't hurt to have a backup, in case something doesn't quite come together.

I, too, have spent the majority of my money on Christmas shopping. But as soon as I have enough, I am ordering my Kumoricon badge. That comes first. Then wigs and cosplay. 

Every time I smell my cloak (is that weird?), I think of Kumoricon. So many memories.

On other news, I've been cosplay Seb so much for my friends, that I'm officially working on that cosplay as well.
And I may have Grell as well for my gf, since she's Undertaker.

Oh, and the Ran Mao wig is going well. Wondering, the braded strands are just attatched with pins, would you like me to sew them on? It'd look much nicer and they'd stay better, but you wouldn't be able to take them off easily.

Oh my goodness, Link, really? 

I wasn't suite sure how to wear a wig my first time, either. First, I had to find a way to get all of my hair pinned up and into the wig cap. I'm definitely going to be more careful and creative about that next year, because I want to at least try to make the wig look slightly more natural. 
Then, I . . . put on the wig . . . .
If you want to stretch out your wig so you don't get a headache (that's what happened to my sister, which was why we had to leave the ball early; she had to pin the wig in place, and it pulled on her hair), get a wig head, and pin the front of your wig to the head (that sounds so creepy), and stuff rolled up t shirts or socks or random fabric or something into the back, then pin that down too. Then leave it for a while, and the wig should be slightly bigger, hopefully easier to keep in place, and more forgiving.
Thanks to an Izumi cosplayer who told me about that method. 

I hope that was somewhat relevant, and somewhat helpful, and not too strange . . . .

I just got Japanese food with my brother and sister. And I thanked the chef in Japanese, and he said something back!! In Japanese!! I'm not exactly sure what he said, but his reply at least means that I thanked him correctly!! 

This is somehow a big deal. 

I saw the zoolights before I went out to eat. Freezing cold, but pretty nice.

Ranting here....

I procrastinated and procrastinated and now have finished the whole Kuroshitsuji series....I was on the edge of my seat, excited to see what happened next......but that last episode ruined it for me. Completely. I feel as if the whole series was wasted in that last few scenes. It was cool and all, but it was twisted and wrong. Not how I imagined and not how I will ever believe it should have been. Ugh.........

GRRRR so frustrated with my goddamn commissioner! It has been almost 3 months since i commissioned her and she hasn't started on it!!!! ; A ; I really wanted to have Dagger by January 15th and it's pissing me off, a lot.

(Amanda please do not take offense, I just need to rant. Badly)

Not one single piece has been started on yet, not the vest, not the shirt, or even the pleated skirt. /nothing/ and I am becoming rather upset. She said she would have it for me before November 20th, and I commissioned her in September D< I have already made a down payment of 20 bucks and the fabric for my vest and boot covers has already been bought. I am sick and tired of waiting for her to start on it! I'd be satisfied with just a piece of it at a time, like the vest in about a week, the shirt another week, and so on and so forth! But she hasn't even given me a final price on it! URGH. I wish I could contact her directly, but I fear that asking her to put a rush on my costume would get Amanda in trouble, and I really don't want that to happen.

The ending of the first season was powerful and perfect and made me cry, which led to mascara all over my face, which led to me taking a very stereotypically emo picture of myself.
Please note the word stereotypically. I don't wish to offend anyone on here who's actually emo.
The second season ending kinda left me too shocked to cry, although Alois definitely brought me close.
It wasn't really what I was expecting, and while I was reasonably happy with it (because most of the characters got a happy ending), it didn't seem satisfying. The series didn't seem complete.

I just got the third volume of the manga from the library. I can't seem to find the rest of them. Anywhere. 

I'm re-infatuated with the musical.
And on that topic, translations are going well. 

And back to cosplay, I can think of three items I would need for Ciel cosplay. I have half decent knee length black shorts. I'd need stockings, a shirt, and a vest. That's excluding the coat . . . .
Still, I wanna acquire Ciel cosplay while I'm still his age. Because for some reason, I actually care about that. 
Anyone know where I'd be able to find decent black knee highs?
