Hey there! This is a post for the offical Hetalia Day in Eugene, Oregon and this is the thread to make it happening! The date would be Sunday, Oct 24th. The time is from 12-5 pm And the place is at Alton Baker~ First we need to know who is interested of attending Here we'd like to share any fun idea to do the day and.. what not

Hmm, I'll have to wait intill it gets closer to be for sure about it, but if i can, i'll be Russia or France.

EDIT: Damn o-o I didn't know it was that far away....maybe you should have it closer to Portland ^^; Because i know a lot of the Hetalia cosplayers are from or close to Portland and i don't think a lot of them would want to drive almost three hours just for one meetup...

Even though it was suggested for Roseburg, it's a three hour drive, speeding, from Portland to Roseburg. And a good number of Hetalia cosplayers, short of the groups in Eugene and Roseburg its self, seem to be in or around Portland.
Besides, even though I didn't go, it seemed like the Hetalia Day last year did just fine in Portland. D:

But I agree with what Shi says about Eugene. Roseburg is just a really inconvenient place.

A Portland trip every now and then is healthy and fun! I think Portland has the most cosplayers so it makes sense to have it where the most people are.

Being would be fun but I don't have a good wig for it and I'm falling in love with Prussia. TODAY I WAS REALLY COOL...

Haha as long as it's on Sunday, I can go and so can Oni Kitsune~ Yayyy~ You can put me down ans Hungary...and she'll do either Prussia or Austria. I'll force her to decide and than tell you~ If it switches to Saturday, we probably won't make it though. Whatever's best for the most people though.

@Fuyuko: I was gonna tell you that I could give you a ride if it was going to be in Roseburg, since I decided that we would go and just hadn't posted about it, but I can still give you a ride to this one, wherever it's gonna be, if you want~ Aaah as long as it stays on Sunday. 8D

All right so we got some people associated to go, but now we need to figure out the time of the event and who's going to carpool (cuz thats important too!) The place of it is up for debate as well, though I recommend a park (lol duh) Any special ideas anyone has? Heres a first estimate of time 3 - 6pm. What are opinions on?

As for the time and location, a park is always awesome and there are plenty here, thankfully. Hmm, I can think of quite a few good ones here... *researches*
Time-wise, late afternoon would be easier for those travelling from Portland and such; so maybe 1 or 2PM at the earliest? And I'm all for 6PM for the ending time. :3

I agree with the park thing. There are lots of amazing parks here too. I also like the idea of making it just a bit longer~ Maybe a 1 or 2PM start time. That way, the people who have to drive a ways have a good break~ n.n

I agree with 1-6 and a park would be best for location...everyone knows were all going to be way to hyper to stay inside anyway -looks at most of the vids from the photoshoots-

Haha I've only been to Alton Baker and Hendricks parks here~ I like Alton baker for its wide open space, but Hendricks was really beautiful and forested~ I dunno about the others.

Everyone, all right so heres the new rough estimate of the time 1-6 pm leaves good le-way for people from around to arrive

And yes the location bit we are still kinking out, but does anyone have any idea of some special events we can do? Maybe have a bit of potluck for everyone (world peace picnic ftw~) And other than a probable photoshoot, anyone have any fun ideas? :3
