If needed, I can probably give two people a ride from Roseburg.

And I really can't cook. .__. So unless I can bring cake, I don't think I'll bring anything~
You? Can't cook? BLATANT LIES.

But if you're only saying that because you're gonna give the cake to me, that's fine. <3

Okay, so maybe I can.
But I don't like cooking. |D Srsly. I prefer baking.
And why would I surrender cake to you?

xD Yup. There's a difference. Or did your 'awesome' self forget that?

I won't even start to go into the illegal move part. So what happens if I win?

I'll probably make this as Austria.

From what I remember of Eugene public transport, Alton Baker is easier to bus to than Hendricks Park, in case that's a factor for anyone.

Genki: Whoooo Eugene budget issues! That was my favorite part of being a carless teen in Eugene, lemme tell you. XD

Oh, should also add that meeting earlier in the day is better. That late in October the sun sets around 6/6:30 at the latest, yeah? I dunno how much you guys wanna be out past sunset in any of Eugene's parks. I, for one, am not super fond of crackheads, hobos OR crackhead hobos.

I was thinking the same thing about times. 6 is like, the very latest we should end for sure~ Uuugh crackhead hobos.

And yes, yayyyy Eugene budget issues! They've cut sooo many bus routes. So uncool~ Not that I ride the bus, but Oni Kitsune does. XD

Oh, and I'm gonna modify this to say that she and I will bring country appropriate entrees, or an entree and a salad, once we figure out who the heck she's gonna be. X3

And yes, I agree that Alton Baker would be easier for some of us to get to but it's up to Kyo since she's in charge of this. :3

Hurray! I attracted Malaria, the big fish of planning hetalia events :D *feels special*

But since I'm not native Eugene, the input of this is most appreciated! Anywho, thats a good point when one thinks about it. All right, calling to vote, who agrees the time should be changed to 12-5 pm? And also vote numba two, who thinks the event should be held at Alton Baker park?

I like 12-5. Since this is during school season, I'll probably be awake by then. : D
Alton Baker, but hopefully in the picnic shelter thing and not in the duck poop areas.

SO anyway, greetings and all that fun shiz. This is well actually I don't know who I'm going to be. I'd like to be N.Italy but.. I'm not too sure about that. I don't know the Eugene area that well but I think overall this is a great idea. I'm going to try and help out as much as I can.

Ohhh POT LUCK. In that case I should be England or Germany since I can't cook worth.....well the oil that goes in the pan. ^ ^.

Yeah, the picnic shelter at Alton baker is nice~ It's in a big area too, and a was away from the duck poop areas! And the geese... -shudder-

I totally vote for the 12-5 thing~ Whatever's best for everyone else, since I live here and it's easy for me to get there. XD

I don't know Eugene all that well, so I'm depending on a GPS to make sure I don't get lost. So I don't really care where it's held at~

And I vote for 12-5. :3

Alton Baker, but hopefully in the picnic shelter thing and not in the duck poop areas.

There's a possibility that you have to actually reserve the shelters, especially for a group this big. I could be wrong, but it would be wise to check. We could of course just steal an empty one, but if another group shows up and says they have it reserved, we have to leave. Best to avoid that situation.

It is highly unlikely that I will go, btw. I have a con that next weekend so spending money to get down to Eugene is pretty unlikely. >> But if I do go I'll be Norway and force Malaria to be Sealand bwahaha

So apparently we do need to reserve a shelter if we want to use one for this event. I also read that the planner is required to have a park rental permit which costs money, and that they have to call the rental coordinator in order to confirm the date and location, and then come up with a price for the shelter.

@Kyo: So, do we want to try that out or go with another plan? Either way, if we want to use a shelter in any other park, we still have to rent one. I can give you the link to all the info if you still want to go through with it? We can each pitch in if it's needed.

Haha it's okay. Do we know how much a permit would be? Is it super expensive? -knows nothing of this stuff- I was trying to think of a plan B last night... I'll keep thinking, and check some other stuff out, just in case. n.n

Edit: Also, if the number of people is under a certain amount... I forgot what it is... Like 20 or something, I don't think that we need a permit. The only problem would be if the shelter was reserved for another event. As long as it isn't raining, we probably wouldn't absolutely need the shelter. I'm just thinking aloud~ XD

I'm willing to risk going to Alton Baker and just hanging out on the grass. If it rains, meetup gets cut tragically short. We really don't have a lot of options in terms of covered public spaces.
