Yay, I'm glad you guys had fun with me.  I also wanted to apologize for disappearing.  I stayed with Katie and Haley until Katie's dad picked them up.  Then I went to the mall and the zombie walk and kept my eyes open for you guys, but didn't see anyone. I got some cool pictures of the zombies, too.

I said I would start my own thread to post the pictures, but I'm just going to post them in here. Here are a couple of the Soviet Union, for now.

No problem, I figured it was something like that.  We were at the zombie thing for a little while, but there were thousands of people there, so it would have been hard to find us, and I left and went home a little after 4.

We should have another shoot some day.  I'm going to look into some possibilities for indoor locations during the winter.

Great photos.  Would be cool to have a meet-up in the winter with snow.  Everyone would need winterized characters, but it would be a nice change in setting for photos.

Oh my gosh Haley looks so amazing!

I'm hoping we can do this again, and I'll either screw the cosplay part and just do photos, or I'll actually have a cool costume this time. All the pictures I took are on Haley's camera hahaha.

Oh, sorry guys.  My name is Robin, btw; I was wearing the pink sweater with a black vest.  You can refer to me as Robin in these forums if you want, too.

Haley - I totally love your eyes!  I enhanced how bright and shiny your eyes are, but those are all your colors. I agree that you look masculine in the b/w - great pose!

It's a bummer I didn't get to work with everyone, so sorry to those who wanted to shoot with me and didn't.  So, we'll just have to meet up again soon!

And here are my final two for the evening.  If I took pictures of you yesterday and you would like digital copies of all the originals, please send me your name, e-mail address, and a description of your costume.  I'll process a couple to give you an idea of what we can do, and you can decide if there are one or two additional ones (or more if you really can't decide) you'd like me to play with.

Also, I'd really love more practice.  So, if anyone would like to do a one-on-one shoot with me again really soon, I'd appreciate it.  I can drive somewhere closer to you, if needed.  I learned so much yesterday and would like to build on that.  With so many people, I was overwhelmed and feel my shots suffered a bit.  But, you guys were awesome!

@Tom - You photos look great; I'm drooling over the lighting!  I'm really looking forward to shooting with you again.  Thank you for teaching me a few things and sharing your knowledge with me.  There is still so much for me to learn.

That could make for some amazing pictures.  On the other hand, we'd have to guess in advance which day it will snow in Portland (and that's only a few days a year), or we'd have to do it on really short notice   Or I guess we could meet at Mt. Hood or something.

That was tricky.  The flight path was hard to predict, so my angle and timing were off by a lot on most of them.  Here is one . . . it isn't what I wanted, but it does show the airplane flying.

liquid-time: thank you so much for coming and being my assistant for the whole shoot.  The photos wouldn't have been possible without an assistant.  I'm glad you had fun.

Phew! Finally got all the pictures uploaded~ So more than half of these were not taken by me, but they were taken with my camera. So if you (as the cosplayer) would like to use one of these pictures, ask me who the photographer is so you can give them credit.
Also, Katie is the best photographer at capturing the interesting life of the ground, and catching people when they are being derp...

I just want to pass along this story, because you may enjoy it.

Tonight I was talking with some people about my upcoming photo projects.  One guy asked, "What types of photography do you do?"  I said, "Well, it varies, but my favorite thing to do is cosplay photography, and it's like this" and so I showed him the photos from last weekend.  His exact words: "Those girls are gorgeous!  They're like professional models!  How did you get to work with them??"
